OK, I hate Android Auto, a little less today.

Using RV Trip Wizard, for trailer safe routing and learned how to incorporate that app and it's map, through Android Auto, onto the big screen. Including turn by turn directions.

And not just the map. The whole trip, meaning you don't have to re-enter anything each time you turn off the truck. Just restart the app.

Man, you're gonna be disappointed, since I stumbled around on it for several hrs.

Lemme gather my thoughts (have another cup of coffee) and I'll give it a shot.

Ok, there is a long version but lets try the short one first.

IF you're familiar with RV Trip Wizard, have an account, a planned trip saved and the app on your phone, that MIGHT be all you need.

There may be some permissions you have to grant before it will function and for me, they did not do a good job describing what those permissions were but I eventually stumbled into them.

I don't recall having to do anything special (but might have) to get the app to show on AA's list of available apps but it appeared, I chose it, selected the trip I wanted and it loaded.

Things you MIGHT need to do on the way.

1) Before selecting the TW app on AA's screen, you MIGHT need to unlock you phone and load your trip.

2) There is a vid showing how to export your trip from TW to G Maps. Its dated and not every step is still exact. I got it to load but not work as described. No idea if this is required as a first step but it might be.

Sorry I can't be more exacting in the directions but thats all I've got.
