I typically drive in normal or eco when on the highway, my question is there a way to ALWAYS see your current gear selection or do I always need to press the + button on the shifter? I came from a 2021 XLT PB that had the analog display so the current gear was always next to the tach.

I dont need it, definitely more of a want and haven't seen of a way to enable it all the time in other modes

Not to my knowledge, just have to press the + button each time.

Must have been a change in the 24 yr. model.

Mine display full time but on my Wife's 24 Bronco Sport Badlands, you have to hit the paddle shifter and it'll display for a few seconds.

I feel like a pilot going through a check list for takeoff. Press plus for gear display, select drive mode (tow haul), turn lights to on (mine reverts to automatic), yes I know something is plugged into the bed receptacle, yes I know the generator is running and I’m outside. Buckle seat belt ready for take off. Bad habit but I now just let it run when I’m getting gas.

I'm a pilot and I FULLY agree with this sentiment.

And when I would ride with my gf and she WOULDN'T do all the things it would drive me nuts.

Ha?! My 21' shows it all the time. Why on earth would they take it away? How many cents could it possibly save them? Idiots.

If you have FORScan, there are some things we could try. PM me if you want to try and we'll let everyone know if we're successful.

My ‘25 is a lease and once this is up I am seriously considering buying a low mileage 2023 to skip the ‘24 “refresh”

My ‘23 Powerboost shows all the time unless I don’t want it to.
