I am happy with my powerboost and would buy one again. has it been issue free? no, but i haven't been in a vehicle that doesnt have its own quirks. The biggest issue so far is a super small coolant leak that its had since new and it goes in next week for diag and repair.
like alot people i have had the low battery soc a couple of times. its not that big of a deal for me to just put in on a charger or go for a nice long drive.

2022 XLT PB, 24K miles, no issues. The OEM 12V battery was getting weak so it was recently replaced. Would buy again in a heartbeat, has been the best vehicle that I've bought in a long time.

Hybrid vehicles continue to be a growth segment for Ford
I'm sure that is true, but our PBs are Unicorns. Lumping them in with other hybrids (although they certainly are) just doesn't do them justice. Most hybrids are designed to function just like their ICE counterparts but with improved fuel economy around town. The PB checks that box yes, but then goes on to outperform the ICE versions while creating new functionalities where it stands alone (7.2kW and idling).

I have a 2022 with ~22,000 miles (about 3k with the Livernois tune) and *knock on wood* have had no issues.

'23 Powerboost with 15k miles- no issues so far- and easily the most well rounded vehicle I have ever owned while still getting 22 mpg.

Seems like a pretty loaded question when you're talking about an AGM battery under the back seat and Fords profit margins????

I have a 2022 Platinum power boost. I have had no issues with the truck.

I thought that we have Li-ion battery under the backseat and AGM 12 V under the hood??

2021 PB XLT 302A & 2021- PB Lariat 502A
I was happy with both my FX4 - 2021 PB (502A Lariat leadfoot and 302A XLT rapid red) both with the 7.2Kw Pro Power.

Some quirks that were minor on both my PB's:
- fault ground codes on both 7.2Kw ProPower
- Brakes were not the best (leaving this to dynamic braking system to charge the battery)
- 10 speed transmission had some serious hard shifting issues.
-Both had higher tire tread wear then my previous 3.5 EB's. Just due to more weight (battery & electric motors) and more torque is what I am figuring is the issue.

Lariat (30K km) had more issues than my XLT -
- couple times not starting up - they figured it was a fuse causing the issue
- cooling seats didn't function and had to get new fan motors
- A/C shutdown on me a few times

Again most were minor issues that were fixed like any vehicle with lots of bling and electronics.

I sold the Lariat Leadfoot a couple weeks back and jumped into a 402A Tremor 3.5EB for more highway runs and off-roading.

Am I regretting selling the Lariat PB for a Tremor? Absolutely not - the Tremor is a beast on it's own more comfortable ride than my FX4's. Only thing I will miss is the Leadfoot Grey color and maybe the better mileage around town, but I do still have my rapid red XLT PB to drive around.

'21 502A here with around 30K miles. Pretty much problem free for me. One minor issue with rear camera becoming wonky after the tailgate was removed to spray the bedliner. Fixed by recalibrating. Aside from that, nothing.
While I like the power, I'd have been willing to give some of that up to get better mileage. I can really only hit the advertised 23-24mpg in ideal conditions. In my typical driving, it's more like 19-20. Which is still better than my previous 4Runner and still very good for a truck this powerful.

2023 Lariat FX4 15,401 miles and no issues so far. It is a computer with wheels so expect to have issues with software and such just like any other computer. This is a complicated machine and subject to all the other things that can happen to a machine. I think many people buy a vehicle and expect it to be as trouble free as a pencil. But that is not reality.
