That puts me in the way back machine right there!
Remember the Celica Supra and the Fiero GT? My dad drove an Audi 5000 GT. I drove a 1976 Ford Pinto in 1982 by contrast lol.
The Xr4ti was a great looking car but hugely unreliable. Supra’s were incredible. 300z’s were my favorite

Yes! Had a '91 300ZXTT for about 15 years that ran 12's all day....Not too bad for that era....Always wanted the Supra TT- but too rich for my blood- and they've only increased in value over the years.

The only problem I've had, was the non serious but fairly typical, low battery nuisance type issues and they seem to be completely fixed, by charging the battery directly and resetting the BMS.

Around a month and a half and not a peep since.

Comfortable, quiet and yes, even before the battery fix, dependable.

Non towing mileage, other than in winter, most often in the low to mid 20s. Sometimes, in the upper 20s. All on 87 octane.

Anyone who says these, on the whole, are bad trucks, is just wrong. Too many of us, have had completely different experiences.

I’ve read about the speaker popping noise when the truck is off. Mine never had that issue but started after an update a few months ago. Not sure if the issue is due to the update; however, I’ve noticed it has affected the battery. It makes the popping noise all the time now when sitting and turned off. I’ve left the key in to see if that makes it stop…nope. Changed the source on the radio…nope. Locked it….nope. Turned the head unit off prior to killing the engine….nope. The only thing that stops it is unplugging the sub behind the rear seat and I’m not going to do that every time I drive it. Is this a “known issue” to Ford yet? Anyone have any ideas how to rectify the issue?
