That is replaced by the gnawing burden of needing to hear 7,000 rpm, you can’t winIt's probably true for all the current available drivetrains in an F150, but on occasion I have to make an effort to find a safe place to "work" the wastegates. I'm not a boost launch kind of guy, so I need some room to roll into WOT and let it have a few gears.
It takes more room than some folks might imagine. The time it takes to reach 95mph from say..... 45, is ridiculously short. And you need quite the gap to do so without running up on someone.
These are amazing machines.
And one advantage that I must admit that the coyote has over my Powerboost is I wouldn't have that gnawing burden every few days to work those wastegates? ?
