My truck has a 5.0 badge but I put it on myself. It was primarily to hide some small scratches I put in the brushed plastic trim piece when I was drilling out the hole for the upper glovebox light. ?

I also have a scratch in that same spot. Would you mind sharing where you purchased it. Thanks.

I put my black, 5.0 badges right above the side vents. For me it blends in better and is not floating on it's own on the side of the door.

I read somewhere that those add 10-15 HP.
Dragy runs show it shaves 2 tenths off 0-60 and half a second off a quarter mile.
?
actually it’s kind of funny, the only way to tell if an F-150 has a V8 is no badges at all!

Power boost has one, eco boost has one
I was really pleased mine even managed to avoid the flex fuel tailgate badge.

I stuck them on my RCSB. It almost looks like it belongs there. Even during a thunderstorm.
It also made the sport mode work better.

No badge is going on my truck. I like the sleeper look personally.

After looking at a few different styles, I wound up with this (aiming for the old fox-body Mustang GT look from my formative years):

Thanks! Those are a new addition to the rig.

About that badge location, there is a slight contour to the fender in that area, so a flat-type of badge won't fit well there. I had to heat up the one I chose a bit to conform it to that area. It's ever so slight, but I wanted to make sure the adhesive makes full contact with the fender.

I had originally tried the same emblem over the fender grille but I didn't like it there. The fonts are different and being that close together really made that evident. But at least that area is flat and easy to adhere emblems to.

When I had my GMC Sierra double cab I had the 6.2 which was rare. Usually the 6.2 was in the Crew cab. I had no badge so most people assumed I had a 5.3. Had a lot of fun with that truck!

I should put a 3.3-liter V6 badge on mine. ?
