I had two USB drives formatted to FAT32 and they both worked fine. I had a Sandisk 128G USB-A and a Samsung 256G USB-C. There is one of each type of connectors right next to the phone charging pad. I mostly used the 256G drive and Apple CarPlay during this trip.
Thanks Gemini, I need to pick up a USB drive and start hunting for FLAC versions of some of my favorite tunes!

If you try to build one now the 22” wheels aren’t an option. Did you have to order specific wheel well liners for the CCD? I have a set that I removed from my last truck without CCD.
You can still get the 22" wheels. You just can't get them with a 6.5 bed or FX4. Also having FX4 gets rid of CCD so even though I removed my stickers, this is just one more way you can tell that I am not an FX4 truck.
No, there is no difference in the wheel well liners from CCD to non-CCD. I ordered mine through Ford parts. I see no reason why your old ones wouldn't work especially if they were from a current generation truck ('21 and up) although I'd suspect the 13th gen may still fit...I don't know.

It’s the PowerBoost battery. My 2022 had the roof and boards, but NOT the PowerBoost.

Pretty truck for sure. I just don't understand Ford going all out with metal badges and tailgate appliques and then sticking the Fisher-Price FX4 stickers on it. Even on my STX I had to peel those stickers off the next day...

Yes, I agree. My plan is to peel those stickers this weekend.

I agree and I don't wait!
  1. I take my Husky mats to the dealership to pick up my truck. (They don't take the plastic off, wash the truck, or add dealership decals, per my request.)
  2. I walk to the truck, grab the FX4 sticker corners, peel them off, walk back inside, and throw them away in the dealership trash can.
  3. I drive home, clean the rear panels with alcohol, and add my chrome King Ranch letters using my template.

I love the antimatter blue. That was the color on my 2021. Very metallic in the sun, dark blue in the off angles, and looks black at night. It's three colors in one.

The long wheelbase turning radius is a geometrical reality. . No way around it.
Well, there *is* a way, but . . . rear wheel steering would be kind of prissy on a full size truck!

I recall that, years ago, when my mother still had her '72 Chevy van (bought new), and I had a '72 Impala 400 ($400 college car), the van had a notably smaller turning radius, and was better at cornering.

Then again, it would feel driving over the edge of the curb, or hitting potholes, unlike the Impala . . .

As for stickers, I never did manage to remove all the gunk left by the dealer decal from my 200 E-150; even goo-gone didn't bother it much.

Always a King Ranch guy here, but that payload is a deal breaker for me. My 2022 loaded long box was 1,680#. They added 400# of plastic? Yup. I guess.
HD HEV Frame, e-motor, inverters and its tiny little battery only makes up 51lbs .
This KR weighs in at 6,153lbs
Yours weighs in at 5,470lbs
That's 683lbs difference and suffice to say it's not plastic. Before I touched my XLT it came it at 5,880lbs w/out sunroof. Now it weighs more than this KR.

Here's the cute little battery often misattributed to its mass. It hangs from the frame with 4 M10 bolts.

Ford F-150 2024 King Ranch delivery trip ... another happy Granger customer! 1723966841753-fi

@gemini - Congratulations. You've got a nice looking rig and it sounds like a wonderful break-in cruise.

And yes it is likely your sunglasses causing the alert’s. Good thing I am tinting everything, and don’t usually wear sunglasses.
NOPE. - I'll check my left-side blind spot before a lane change and Bitchin' Betty chimes in...

@BMCGC - Super Duty (a) doesn't have PowerBoost -and- (b) for some reason, doesn't advertise MPG on any engine combo...

@Smokewagun - My 2024 KR (3.5L, 6.5' bed, Max Tow) allows for 1544#, or about 140# less than your '22. - Deltas would include (but not limited to) PAT, HUD/Electronics, and whether or not you're equipped w/ Max Tow.

Manufacturers are not required to advertise MPG's on heavy duty trucks.

Yes the Superduty does not currently have a PB option, my point is that if the primary purpose is going to be towing or hauling a load, the F250 may be a better option.

I went with the PB, because I want the 7.2kw gennie. If Ford steps up to a PB Superduty, I may move up.

Perhaps I should have said sunglasses COULD be the cause…:From from the Ford website. “Ford BlueCruise works with most, but not all, sunglasses”

Your real experience trumps my theory! lol. I hope to have some of my own interactions with my own “Betty” in a couple weeks!
