Congratulations. It's beautiful! I just got my 24 Lariat end of June, ordered out of state in PA, better deals. Same color antimatter blue. My husband's 22 350 is the same color and I loved it, so had to have it.

Perhaps I should have said sunglasses COULD be the cause…:From from the Ford website. “Ford BlueCruise works with most, but not all, sunglasses”

Yep, I've gotten away from my old mirror finish lens and polarized sunglasses due to Bluecruise cameras in my truck and HUDs in wife's cars.

Granger is great to work with. I bought my 23 F150 KR and my 24 Maverick from them. I have to come from the Houston area. Like the OP I turned getting my pickup from Granger into a road trip. My Maverick had 4500 miles on it and had been to Canada before it saw my driveway.

The KR I test drove a couple of days ago was able to handle my polarized sunglasses.

I simply can't drive in the desert without both polarized lenses and my 5" brim. It's only about 10 minutes for the headache to set in . . .

Like the OP I turned getting my pickup from Granger into a road trip.
When my turn comes, I have grandkids in the next state over, so . . .

What about the head up display if it had one? My truck's cameras deal with polarized sunglasses too but they have always screwed up the visibility of a HUD. Haven't tested a 24 yet.

The HUD was quite clear. I think the salesman accidentally turned it on while aiming for the adaptive cruise.

It was quite clear--on an August day in the desert, well over 100F, and me in polarized glasses and a 5" Cody James brim.

It moved from "that would be cool" to "me want!".

And these are strike-king clip-on polarized lenses. (if you want to be sure about real polarization, go for someplace that sells to fisherman, who really care about being able to see 41% further into the water with them!)

The only thing I've ever had trouble seeing through polarization is this idiotic JVC system I put in this '97 F150. Now, polarization is absolutely necessary for an LCD display; that's how it works. And on an old LCD calculator, you could flip the polarizer and turn from black on white to white on black (great for messing with folks in high school!) [oops, dated myself!] But on this stereo, some idiot brandead excuse for an engineer polarized at 45 degrees! Which mostly dims it to zero degree sunglasses. So I have to either flip up the sunglasses, or tilt my head to read it. Morons.

I have a pair of Serengeti and a pair Bolle polarized sunglasses. The HUD display dims to the point of almost invisible when wearing these sunglasses. Neither of these sunglasses causes any issues for the NAV or the console screens.

I am going to try a few more brands/pairs to see if I can find a pair that actually works with the HUD.

That's not a red KR PB!?
My original order was Red, then I wanted the CCD vs. FX4, and I wanted PAT. I changed my profile in one spot, missed the rest! Thanks for the catch, and by the way I have the albums on DVD-A of your avatar, they sound awesome!!
