Granger is great to work with. I bought my 23 F150 KR and my 24 Maverick from them. I have to come from the Houston area. Like the OP I turned getting my pickup from Granger into a road trip. My Maverick had 4500 miles on it and had been to Canada before it saw my driveway.
I ordered exactly what I wanted and that is the 4x4 CC LWB. You can order the configuration that you want. No one is forcing folks to buy 4x4 CC models. Dealers will of course stock what sells the best and I can't blame them even if it is not what I want.
Just thought I would share in case anyone else has this happen.
I started my truck and a got a warning message that pre-collision braking is not available and the little wrench light was on. I thought it was just because it was raining hard and ignored it. When I pulled out on the street the...
I did my first oil change when I got home from the dealer. That was about 1,100 miles. As far as I know there are not any special break in oil additives.
There are lots of opinions about when to change the oil for the first time and every time afterwards. I try to change the first oil at 1,000...
Ford started using direct injection on the 3.5 in 2018. 12 years ago your 3.5 would have come with injection in the intake port and not direction fuel injection into the combustion chamber. So you are right it would not experience the fuel dilution like a direct injection engine would. My...
It is a common problem for all direct injected engines, which is all ICE cars these days. Direct injection of the gas on a cold start up tends to let a little gas by the rings and into the oil. This happens until the engine warms up. If you are like me and drive longer distances and live in the...
Congrats on your new truck order. You will like working with Granger. They really take care of you and none of the hassles of other dealers.
The single cab V8 just cries out for the Ford supercharger to make more than 700hp. Especially if you have Granger install it from day 1. Ok maybe that...
I assume from your question that you are a bit new to hauling trailers. So hear are a couple things to think about.
I did a quick internet search and the trailer opening is 37" wide and 41" tall and the mower is 32w X 43 h. You may have a hard time getting into an opening that is a little too...
I have not changed out the struts on my F150 but I have done others and found that the thru sockets work really well for struts.

When I loan something out, even my truck and tractor, I never expect it back. This is what my dad taught me. People and relationships are more important than objects. So that is the basis I start with when I loan things.
If I loan out my pickup and someone totals it - I would pay all...
I didn't know you can use the Farm Bureau cert after the sell.
I'm glad I had mine when I bought my F150 (last year) and Maverick. I bought my Maverick on Jan 5th. Because of the timing of last years expiring and this years being issued, I had to print out the new one the day before I bought...
