Maybe not as quick as using FDRS, but patience is a virtue and mine seems to be keeping up with things as appropriate / needed via OTA. I've had no glitches subsequent to any OTA update and all of my FORScan mods have remained intact / unaffected (I download / archive my ABT file after every FORScan mod and OTA update so I can track changes made by both and saved on Ford's server).

Of course, specific updates, versions, and update frequency will vary depending on truck year and equipment (mine has the full-digital IPC & 12" display but is not a PB and does not have BC).

You guys that are getting these updates, is your truck parked outside and do you have a programed time entered in your system?

My truck is usually parked in my garage, and I've had updates apply both inside the garage and also outside. I have a programmed time for 1am every night, but I think that scheduled time is only used when the truck needs to be locked out for the update.

In my experience, which may be coincidental, it seems like updates only get triggered when I'm using the vehicle. I don't drive my truck every day and I've never seen it update on a day I don't drive it. However, I've had several updates apply while driving or right after driving, and for the updates which need to lock out the vehicle, I've been notified when I get in the truck that there is one scheduled for that night. That's after it sat for a few days. I'm not sure if this is deliberate, or happens as a side effect of driving bringing up the battery charge or if it's just purely a coincidence or what.

I bought my truck in July 2024 and here are all the updates I've received since purchasing it. As you can see it's been on a bit of a roll lately.

I park in my garage so I can connect to my Noco Gen5 x 1 battery since I don't drive everyday. Here is my updates since my purchase in July 2024.

Some updates happen in the garage, and some happen when I drive somewhere and turn the truck off.

Got SYNC-25.2.1.6.5 last night. Nice to see the OTA Gods are sending out updates. Already had all the BC 1.4 mods done prior to getting this one. I don't think this update changed anything related to the BC 1.4 mods I made. Just happy to be getting OTAs. Last one was Jan 2025.

I bought my truck in July 2024 and here are all the updates I've received since purchasing it. As you can see it's been on a bit of a roll lately.

This is nearly identical to the updates I've had this year. Same order of installs and nearly the same dates.

I got the Sync-25.2.1.6.5 update at lunch today, so Ford's really gotten things moving with updates for '21 vehicles.
