Idk, but Ford is really trying to ram this PCM update down my throat. Not today, Satan........ not today. I had to run out to my truck to turn off auto-updates. Lol

Rugedraw, I just checked your VIN for you in PTS, it would appear that the OTA failed and will continue to fail even with multiple attempts. It should eventually time out for you!:) Here's the PTS error code, I've never seen this before it's a little cryptic.

Rugedraw has a custom tune loaded in his truck, updating the PCM will blow away that tune and the tuner manufacturer does not have a new tune available for the new PCM software yet. So, for guys with tuned trucks, they have to wait until new tune is ready, and want to avoid this update until then. There's nothing wrong with the update itself.

Just updated the spreadsheet to reflect new BCM OTA 24-PU0121-FTDI-FX coming soon to an F150 near you.

Agreed. I wanna know if updates fail less often due to low SOC…

Anyone with the BCM update check on their 12v SOC? We're now seeing 90-100% 12v battery SOC on the EVs. Previously they were just as bad as the F150s.

Anyone with the BCM update check on their 12v SOC? We're now seeing 90-100% 12v battery SOC on the EVs. Previously they were just as bad as the F150s.
I will let you know in couple hours, truck @ dealer for service and I asked them to do the Rotunda test on the main AGM because of previous issues.
I did mention to Service Manager that I recently got that update and they obviously had not heard about it... so we will see this afternoon when I pick it up.

Thank you very much. This is the second battery H7. This one is over two years old.
Getting new battery from the dealership wo any argument about it. Battery past test. Also they found a broken rear axle bolt and my front brake caliper is leaking. New Battery, New Front brakes and new rear axles and hubs. Dealership would not let me take the truck bc of the rear axle recall, so they gave me a loaner instead. I have a great dealership! First class all the way. Now, just waiting on parts to come in. Looks like next week camping trip is going to be canceled because of parts. Still waiting on ETA for them.

Well... I just got a call from the dealer and battery failed Rotunda battery test. tested at 780 CCA but obviously it detected an anomaly when testing the battery.

It will take a day or so fir me to know if the 12 v SOC stabilizes higher than it normally does as I got the notice for this BCM update just after the truck had been in trickle charge after being away.

Knock on wood I’ve had minimal 12v issues and have been running a BT monitor since nearly day one.

Just took a short trip to the store and this is status after being shut down for 20 minutes which would be about normal after the charging.

Is there a rhyme or reason to the order updates get pushed out? Last week, I got 6.8.0; today, I got 24-PU0105-CMR-FX. Looking at the Power Up sheet, there seem to be a few in between the 2 I most recently got. Does Ford set a priority hierarchy? Is it possible for me to look up what updates are still due for my truck, or can someone do that for me? VIN: 1FTFW1ED5NFB50152.
