6.8.0 FAILED - Sorry if this has been asked before, I went through the tread but didn't see anything. Last 3 nights my truck tries to install 6.8.0 update. Tonight I made sure I had my 10 amp charger on the battery and it was fully charged before it started plus all other items on the update list were met. Any suggestions?

That's the IPC update. You want that one if you have BC. Most likely due to low battery stats. Need the VIN to check.

It's your 12v battery. Capacity as at 44 of 80 (assuming you have the H7 battery), but charge is not bad at 80. Do you have the original battery the truck came with? If so, it may be time to replace it. Try fully charging it again overnight, and then reset the BMS. Take the truck for a 20 minute drive to make sure the 12v is fully topped off, and then try manually start the update as soon as you park it so the soc can be as close to 100% as possible.

Add me to the list of folks getting of 4 updates in 11 days on a '21. Pretty crazy for a nearly 3 yr old truck. I hope after folks get caught up this is something more like a few times a year.

I just got 6.8.0 today, and it was successfully installed. If I don't want to go the FRDS route, can I do anything else to catch up? VIN is 1FTFW1ED5NFB50152 for reference. Thank you!

No, nothing you can do to make updates come in faster. But, if you just got 6.8.0, then you aren't terribly behind anyway.

Will do. I haven't noticed anything as of yet. Still riding with volume at 10 for my most common apps -- Apple Music, Spotify, and Audible audiobooks.

Adjust your fade to the rear speakers only, then the front passenger side. My rears sound like the audio is supposed to be coming out of the a pillar tweeters, and the front passenger door sounds very muffled, almost blown.

They made this change in the mach-e and it's now charging to 90% as well as more frequently using the HVB to charge the LVB. Looks like ford is FINALLY fixing the BMS nonsense in the ICE vehicles too. Only 2 years behind schedule.
