Picked my MY23 f150 PB Lariat 502a on April 14th, 2023. Says "no updates" but in my sync version screen I see the following. Sharing if it helps anyone, but also please help me to confirm how to determine which version in the 3.x 4.x stream this is?

Your software is 23045 and the breakdown is 23 (2023) 045 (45th day of 2023). So your truck is on software from mid February of this year. For sure, you have all the 3.x.x updates already. You may even have the 4.x.x updates already, too. Do not read too much into the OTA issues many people are talking about here as they would not apply to your situation.

Fantastic, thanks for the super quick response. Is there a way to check what 4.x.x update(s) I have or am missing?

Not really. You can post on the VIN look-up thread that is also stickied here and ask for a list of FDRS updates and depending on what pops up, I may be able to tell if you are missing any of them, but they don't give you anything new or shiny, so I wouldn't stress it.

This is great info coming together, but I can be a little slow at times. What is the official way to get info updated and ingested into the process? As of now the git site and spreadsheets are out of sync - at least for the Lightning (I do understand that data is likely the least concerning for this site). I'm willing to work to get that data updated, I'm just not sure where we want it so that it gets updated in the spreadsheets and the git site.

The Lightning is similar to ICE - some releases are hitting the '23 and some hitting the '22.

I have the excel sheets I pulled from the wiki before they closed it posted on the OP. Feel free to grab it and start a similar thread on the Lightning forum. I've been the one gathering data and @tonesto7 has been updating the git site since I'm not familiar with using it. I don't follow the other forums to keep the other ones up to date, so they are as-is from when the wiki was shut down. If you are familiar with whatever is missing and want to update the excel sheet and repost it here, I'll replace it in the OP with any changes you make. If you want to make a git page for it, go ahead. Or, grab the excel and start a thread on the Lightning forum where it can be maintained there by owners who will find that data more relevant than it is here. All I wanted to do was preserve the data before it disappeared. This thread is open for discussions on how to maintain it and to discuss anything that may be inaccurate and needs corrections. People here really like the git site layout. If you're familiar with it and want to take that project on, feel free to do so. We will gladly host it here, but I think it should also be on the Lightning forum, as well.

Oh sh*t. I hadn't actually looked at the git site in a bit and just opened it and seen @tonesto7 added the other vehicles to it with a filter to sort through which vehicles you want to look at. It looks great!!!!

@GDN Looks like you would just need to add whatever recent updates aren't there.

A lot of people are trying to save the data which we need, Motortrend weighed in on the Lightning Forum and said they were going to keep a tracker, ford.fandom.com someone has grabbed the data there too.

When I first read through this thread I thought your spreadsheets were being used to update Tonesto's data then noticed he was ahead a bit.

I will work the next night or two to update your spreadsheet with my history and what I can find for the '23 Lightnings. Then maybe Tonesto can ingest it from there.

They don't drop at the same time, but I'm about 98% sure the Lightning and the ICE trucks have the same releases, timing is just off by a few days between them.

Interesting that MT is following this.

Also interesting that the Lightning and ICE trucks are so synced.

Glad to hear I wasn't the only one wanting to preserve this. I was waaaaaay over my head on wiki trying to defend the page from getting taken down. Someone who is obviously from this community that speaks their lingo went in there and fought valiantly to keep the wiki page up. I regret every penny I donated to those pompous a**holes. ?

I'm sure the community appreciates your help. Truth is, it was us maintaining the wiki page so we were just giving them free traffic by hosting it there.

His initial git page was based on the excel sheets, but he added more info based on things he knows, I'm safely assuming. That's why I'm have it marked as WIP in the OP. He took it to the next level in the past week, though.

Hello all! In lieu of the Power Up Wiki being taken down off of Wikipedia, we will be hosting this here in-house going forward. After debating with a few other members, I have decided to put everything on three different Excel sheets that anyone can download and access at anytime. As more updates come out I will edit the original Excel sheet and report it on this thread. It was spread into three Excel sheets to prevent clutter and confusion as certain updates for the F150 will have the exact revision number as it will for a Mach-E/Lightning. Big thank you to @Kanuck for transferring all the data to Excel, as my Excel skills are sub-par and it would have taken me forever.

I would also like to convey that this thread and the info on it is open for discussion. If anyone finds any info on the Excel sheets that is inaccurate and needs to be revised, please feel free to comment so we can discuss it and make any amendments needed to make this as accurate as possible.

To Mach-E and Lightning owners: I do not follow the forums for your vehicles, so I will not be updating those two Excel sheets vigilantly. I will be happy to maintain them, but I would need for you guys to tell me when something new comes out so I can add it. I have my hands full as it is on this and f150forum and do not have the time to monitor every forum. If you prefer, feel free to download the Excel sheet and start a similar thread in your respective forum so that your own community can partake in keeping it up to date and accurate.

I am posting this now, but please note that I am still collecting data for all the recent 4.2.x updates that are being released. For now, the spreadsheet says 2022-2023, but it is possible that some of these updates are specific to 2022 or 2023, and not common to both model years. There is probably enough data out there now for this to be determined, but I have not had a chance to look through all the threads and VINs to confirm this yet. Once I do, I will make any needed corrections.

Thank you great knowledge. I also wish Ford would update the Ford Pass app like the one that you did last year.
Thanks

I will continue to improve the data structure and site layout as time goes on. I'm trying to find ways to allow more variability to each item to allow tagging the model year along with the model in each change line item.

Question for the people who know this stuff. Planning on updating my truck myself and wanted to know if you are required to go in order that the updates are listed or can you do different types of updates out of order I.e can you do just the APIM updates without doing anything else (as I understand the APIM’s are basically the sync4 updates). Is there a specific order to do them?

You want to ask that question over in the thread pasted below. A couple of posts at the top of it may have some information to help out too.

You will have to do some GWM and TCU updates in order to get subsequent APIM updates to become available.
