Try these in the DSM. Set the cushion to a low temp and the back to what you want.

Any idea if I need to change both, HMat and TED values, or do these only use the TED values? I did the conversions, it looks like the seats are hottest on TEDHeatHighInit, so perhaps that is the initial set temperature and it tapers down to the TEDHeatHighFinal temp from there over time?

I'm surprised the back temp is higher than the cushion, the cushion definitely usually feels hotter for sure. I guess I can just tweak the TEDHeatHighFinal temp and see what happens. Any suggestions? Thanks!

None except give them a go; as I haven't tried them myself, you're paving the way for others as well as yourself 👍

What are the top 5 adjustments you recommend in Forscan for an overall improved ownership experience? I don't have any complaints with my '21 Lariat PB (non-Bluecruise). Just wondering if there are adjustments I don't even know I want before I sell my Mongoose cable.

I was bummed to find out about the recent subscription cost increase to FDRS when I signed in to buy a 2-day this morning. I made a ton of updates in June and was holding onto the cable to check for updates again ~6 mos. later before selling the cable. I'm not going to bother spending $120 with the risk there are no new meaningful updates available 6 months later. I've only received 1 OTA update since June.

The mods I find really helpful.

Enable digital temps for engine & transmission on 12" digital cluster
Auto Start/Stop Disabled
Double Horn Honk disable
Remove black box on reverse camera that says "full view not available"

Is the seat belt chime disable, only below a certain speed? I did that one, and it seemed to work in my driveway test, but leaving a store today my wife wasn't buckled up and it was chiming, I was doing 6 or 7 mph at the time.

It only works for me up to 13mph

Seems like I was slower than that, but will pay closer attention, thanks.

I wouldn't sell your cable (Mongoose I assume?). FDRS can come in handy for repairs and troubleshooting problems, it's not just for software updates. Literally everything in these modern vehicles are controlled by computer modules, FDRS allows you to access them.

The seat belt chime can be disabled by using the procedure in the manual. It varies a little on different years.

2018 F150 Platinum - RWD, 3.5 Ecoboost, 2026 Platinum 4X4 PB on order
I've just started reading this massive thread but have a quick question. But first, a big thanks @Livnitup and all the others that spend so much time putting together information and helping others.

I have a 2026 Platinum Powerboost on order to be delivered in March of next year or thereabouts. How soon will we know if the 2021+ spreadsheet will be able to be used for 2026? Or do we already know that?

Thanks, back to reading....

I need to find some time this week to compare the 26 info to the 24-25s and see if anything is different. If I find some differences I'll add 26-only sheets or rename the existing ones to 24-26 if they're the same

The power point timeout duration can't be changed on the 24/25 for some reason. Does anyone know what this does?

726-57-01xxxxxx****--BSaveTimeOut_CourtesyDemand_Cfg (BSTOCDC) • Seconds = Hex2Dec(****)

It's the same line as the power point timeout in the BCM for the 24/25 trucks.

Thanks!

Should be a 2 pin connector. Pin 1 runs to the BCM and pin 2 is ground. Not sure what the switch type is (NO/NC) but if unplugging doesnt work, May have to put pin 1 to ground. (jumper from pin 1 to pin 2)

Do You know exactly where pin 2 goes? Im trying to figure how to disable this as of now there is no asbuild data for this and its on retrofit cluster , Im assuming its written somewhere in bcm or apim

I’m not following. Do you have a work surface? What pin are you needing? There is no pin 2. It’s either pin 1 that’s the signal wire and pin 3 that goes to ground.
