April 21, 2022 - Resuming Extended License sales

We have resumed selling paid Extended Licenses, thus far the 1 year only. We had to increase the price as the whole payment stuff is more expensive for us now.

Yeah, that's what I was assuming. Oh well. I don't mind helping out and contributing. I've just never seen forums locked out like that.

Just noticed this was added to the common tab on the Forscan doc. I read the description/notes but not understanding the full scope of this. Can someone explain this to me in a FOR Dummies way? Does this completely disable BC or only in a specific scenario?

Also anyone have any insight into Cross Traffic Alert View? I was attempting to get 50/50 view at speed and noticed this was added but grayed out.

Cross traffic alert is when you are backing up and car or object comes at you from side and is picked up by the BLIS radar on tail lights. I've had it come up backing out my driveway. The camera would already be active in that scenario so not sure why there would be an option.

Yeah I know what you’re talking about but this seems to be something more to that feature. Maybe adding in side mirror views of oncoming traffic if it alerts?

I'm not opposed to that feature if it exists, but it would likely require 360 cameras.

Idk if others have gotten it to work, but I have to imagine the reason some of these things are not enabled is because Ford hasn’t figured out all of the bugs yet

There have been a number of discussions on reverse tilt. Last I saw enabling gets the behavior above and not the behavior you wanted/expected.... Maybe a future SW update....

Some have suggested programming profile/position 3 with the mirrors adjusted down. That way you can tap 3.. back in.. Park. Leave. Lock. As long as you unlock with a FOB linked to the 1/2 profile you don't even have to press a button to get the mirrors back to normal.

Hey guys, So I got to try out the wired EX adapter today and it didn't change anything. Still got "service procedure interrupted" when attempting to reset the TCM using that preset. I went to the wrench icon and reset the TCM tables and adaptive learning individually, and it worked. P160A gone; went for a long drive and it hasn't returned. I don't know that buying the wired was necessary though, I think it's probably Forscan.

Change this to enable PSA but no guarantees since you have a 21, it is very latest software dependent

I can confirm setting the 2 bit turns on PSA for my 2021... but it is a very up to date F150 OTA wise.. updating to 6.1.0 yesterday before I messed with Forscan. Testing at residential speeds and schools zones shows that while it didn't reduce speed to 20 prior to the school zone the transition was still quick and smoother than I remember from before. Given Ford's description I had expected slowing prior to approaching the 20 MPH sign but it didn't slow until I was passing. Acceleration back to 35 from 20 also seemed smoother than before. I will test at highway speeds and with bluecruise and will post if something is worth reporting.

I was also able to remove the dreaded "Full view not available" so thanks @antho and all the others.

For 50/50 I can get that view pushing the pro trailer button while in neutral or the displayed soft trailer button while in reverse... but pushing the displayed soft 50/50 button on the display while in drive gets a beep and no change in camera views. Some others have experienced a 50/50 failure as well.

A new definition for APIM 7D0-02-02 xxx* xxxx xx-- has been added on the apim spreadsheet but changing this value will remove the black box on the reverse camera that says "full view not available"

If your current value is 6 change to 7

I think he has a 2 like me cause he has “Enable Cimate Bar at the bottom of Sync screen” set. That seems to use the same function
