Well hey, I'm back. Sorry for another question. Hope I can contribute in the future.

I changed my tire size using the As-built option after calculating the tire size for HEX code following the spreadsheet provided in Livinitup's doc. Forscan responded with, "Block failed, incompatible configuration". I most definitely did input it correctly.

So I chose to use the 'plain english' option and changed the mm. That was fine. Then I did a PCM relearn which was also fine. The TCM relearn gets stuck at "service procedure interrupted" and the code P160A doesn't go away.

For now I have to drive the truck. I took it out and the speedometer is bang on, at least to 120km/hr. What does this mean for now...shift points at the wrong speeds?

I'm using Forscan 2.3.56 and an OBDLink MX+

What size tires are you running? There is a maximum size you can input this way before the PCM doesn't like it throws a code, your spedo will be right on but might have a CEL, other things not happy, it is like this on super dutys when you go north of 35" tires.

Has anyone else tried this? I got this all set up last night and didn't notice anything different on my way to work this morning. Everything seamed normal.
Like I said earlier, this is kinda the latest greatest, so it might be a 23 only thing right now and need all the latest software that is out there. You might have the APIM option to enable it, but everything is done by the IPMA, so if it isn't the right version, no go most likely.

Are you using the blue tooth adapter to attempt programming from a laptop? "I'm using Forscan 2.3.56 and an OBDLink MX+" it's my understanding that programming with forscan can only be successfully accomplished using a wired ODB to USB laptop connection.

I'm running 295/70r18, or 34.3 x 11.6. I decided to use a mm value that another member here calculated out to work at 2609mm. It seems to work great vs GPS. The PCM hasn't talked back yet. It's the TCM that is unwilling to accept.

Thanks for the suggestion. It's certainly something I could try. But in my last encounter with the brake service mode problem, I read in many threads where this was recommended to someone and they bought an OBDLink EX only to have the problem persist. I'm really racking up the credit card now. Searching this problem, I've found is that it could be unique to some models/years. Sadly I'm beginning to resent this truck.

These are great trucks! No need to be down about it. Those of us with 2021's are missing nothing from what Ford had imagined these trucks could be. But I a agree, some of the software things just aren't quite right and certainly leave a little something to be desired.
The "exit brake service mode" is definitely a problem with the 21's, but it's easily overcome with FDRS. Forscan although not working now will eventually be corrected as well. Hopefully before I do my first brake job. ? If you intend to do more programming and updating to your truck beyond what you've done already, And it's within your means, I would strongly suggest you pickup a mongoose cable, these trucks have become rolling computers and without the proper tools in your arsenal you'll be limited at some point.

Is it possible to have this camera view show up when engage your turn signal? It would help with blind spot.
Sort of. If you go back a few pages there is discussion of it. It’s possible but if I recall you had to trick your truck into thinking it has a trailer attached to get it to work or something like that.

I hope it can be updated as well....I really like working on my own truck. And didn't intend to do this stuff right away, that's the thing. Changing the tire size in Forscan without problem looked fairly straight forward. This will make 2 for 2 now that I have to bring it to the dealership or buy a super expensive mongoose cable and pay for a FDRS license. This is the resent I'm feeling.

I kinda felt purchasing the Mongoose was my get out of jail free card purchase, if you know what I mean.

Proved to be just that many times over the last couple of years.

It sounds like it! I'll start putting my pennies in a jar ;) For now I've ordered the wired OBDLink EX and will report back.

Here is what it says.

The Tolerance option shows up when you enable Speed Sign Recognition, it is part of the IACC system.

Update on using Predictive Speed Assist after driving 5 hours yesterday with it. It is really nice! It will even slow down a tad on certain sharp curves which is what I usually have to do anyways, so having the truck do that for me automatically is just that much nicer. I'm curious though if it is kinda a connect nav feature as much truck still has the trial active, so I'm curious what will happen when that ends.
I have a 2021 F150 Platinum. What do I need to do to enhance this? As well as enable the 50/50 view without having to go into tow/haul mode. Thank you

Installed loaded OEM Tow mirrors that replaced my loaded OEM regular mirrors. Everything works other than power telescoping. Is there something I need to enable in FORScan? Power fold works fine. Pushing the telescoping button does nothing. I already know I need to recalibrate the 360 degree cameras and I'll get around to it but the cameras are working fine and I have a silent DTC on it.

Did you verify that the wiring for the telescope was at the connector? If not, I would start there.

Yes, wiring for the telescoping switch was there in which I plugged into the back of the new telescoping switch.
