So you wheel heats up and the buttons don’t work still? I have to ask and not just assume, you did update all of the required as builts, correct?
The weird thing was that I didn’t have to update anything, when I open SCCM on my Forscan the values were exactly what I needed.

When it asked you to load a profile, did you select one to load or did you tell it to find all modules again?

I’ve load The profile
Don’t load it, make it find the modules again. You’re reloading old saved data on your computer, not what’s in the truck

Once you do this you will have to write your as-builts to the SCCM

Do I need to upload factory settings then first?

I don't recall all of the command prompts when running through FORScan, but you need to make sure you do not load a profile. Then (assuming you backed up your factory SCCM) once the modules load, you'll go into the SCCM and "load all AB". Then select the backed up version of your SCCM as-builts. Then from there, make your HSW changes and both the steering wheel buttons and the wheel heat should function as expected. If you did not go through and back up your as-builts, then you could manually type them all in, assuming you have them written down somewhere. Or you can search for them using the motorcraft as-built website. It's pretty tedious doing it that way and introduces a HIGH probability of error

This is my once/year request to raise money for the upcoming Autism Speaks Walk in my area that I participate in every year. My son has Autism so this is a fundraiser that's near & dear to my heart. If you feel like my FORScan spreadsheets/tutorial have benefitted you in away way and you'd like to donate a few bucks to this cause that's tax deductible then I would really appreciate it.

Just an update on my situation, it’s all working now, I’m not sure if the problem was in BB vs HB clockspring but mostly my process, as @dolsen suggested, I’ve ran all the blocks again, then wrote my original built, turned off the ignition disconnected Forscan, connect it again and run all the blocks, then made all required changes. All the steering wheel buttons immediately start working, the hsw is working too. I haven’t checked the same process with the BB part, so maybe it wasn’ta part but me wasn’t following the process, on frf forum people were able to install BB part in raptors with no issues.

Another member with a 23 raptor HAD TO use the -HB part number. @Jmeo what was your experience?

@Victorbaars @dolsen
I havent looked much into what folks are doing for the heated wheel swap but i do know that the SCCM for the raptor has a different strategy file. So just loading asbuilt onto a BB may not work right. You probably have to flash the proper files to it.

It worked like a charm for me.
I’m sorry, what I meant was, did you use the -BB or -HB part number? I’m pretty sure you MUST use the -HB in a raptor…

Hope the frf folks will forgive me. here is the screenshot from the thread in the forum, and it seems that everyone is using the same set up.
