Added the heated wheel to me 2023 F150 Powerboost XLT.

The truck needed the heated wheel, SCCM and the new bolt. I took off the power telescope off the SCCM, not needed. My truck was PREWIRED as an xlt. The harness was in the dummy plug on the back of my original SCCM and already ran to PIN 15 in the respective harness. My forscan changes are below, this added the soft button to the climate bar. Everything works. I just need to see if it works with auto climate on remote start when it gets colder out. Thanks to Livnitup and JMoney17$ for their help as well as the others on this forum!

APIM 7D0-02-03 xxxx xxx1 xx--

APIM 7D0-02-02 xxx2 xxxx xx--

APIM 7D0-02-01 xxxx 5xxx xx--

After changing these values go into the wrench icon in FORScan and reset the APIM. This should add a climate bar on your screen with the HSW button.

Enable the HSW in the SCCM here: 724-01-01 xxxx 8xxx --

Enable the HSW in HVAC here: 733-01-02 xxx9 xxxx xx--

Maybe one of you can help.

I have lost the camera function of the shot below when in reverse. I press the camera mode button to see the icon (trailer with arrow) and it is still on the screen, but when press it, it does nothing. When I press the backup assist button, it will work, but send all kinds of stop now and configure trailer warnings. I used to be able to use it no matter the situation and only in reverse. Any ideas?

** Fixed it ** I had 7D0-01-01 xxxx - xxxx - FF because I have Trailer Backup Assist per the spreadsheet; Changed to FD and the image came back. Was checking through previous as-builts and noticed this was a change I had made. **
Realized that I have lost this camera view completely and must be result of recent updates. I don't even have the button for it on screen now. ?

I just got around to doing some changes today, got my F150 last week. I was able to get the double honk to go away, and also Bambi mode.

I attempted to enable cameras at speed code. The IPMA code line was the same, so I didn't change anything there, but I changed the first APIM line to FF, and then FD on the second APIM line. I have the bed and hitch rear cameras that work over 9mph, but the front camera does not work over 9. Is this correct? Or should they work as well. I did read through 10 pages, but didn't see any answer. Thanks.

Seems to be a common issue. I have seen a few F150 owners report that on this and F150forum, too.

I didn’t find that the following change did anything positive:
7D0-01-01 xxxx - xxxx - FF. As far as I could tell, it didn’t activate any camera views I didn’t already have. What it did do was nuke my existing trailer reverse guidance calibration and prompted me to set it up again. I reverted back to the default (BD) and everything seems to be working normally again, including restoring my previous TRG calibration.

On mine only certain drive modes display over 9.

Correct only the tailgate and cargo light camera if equipped will work while driving. Can even use the option to look directly down at hitch if you want to see the road zoom by. Trailer camera option might work too, but I don't have that to try it.

I'd like to see the split screen trailer view while driving with or without trailer it's a great view down sides of truck. The front camera i don't see being very useful going down the road and probably more a distraction.

Hi all, I honestly used search on this forum and couldn‘t find this problem. I have retrofit the heated steering wheel to my 2023 F150 Raptor, I did changes on HVAC and SCCM modules and now I got the HSW working but all my steering wheel buttons are not active, however they are lit up. Please help, I’ve spent 8 hours trying to find something that activates those buttons in spreadsheet.

You might want to swap out the buttons for the ones on your old wheel, that's how I got mine working again.

I haven’t change the wheel itself, mine was with heating already. I’ve replaced the clockspring and hvac unit only

IIRC the raptor uses a different SCCM, did you get one specific to the raptor?

Did you upload your factory as-builts to the SCCM before making the changes for the HSW?
I did, however, if I understand this correctly when I swapped the clockspring the values has changed, so when I upload my old built to SCCM nothing changes, besides hsw deactivated

Yea the SCCM already has some (or no) values uploaded so you have to put the values required by your truck into it. So as long as you did that BEFORE making the changes for the HSW, everything should work as desired/expected. I’m assuming you actually felt the wheel get hot, and you aren’t just looking at the HSW light coming on?
