if you get a message saying "invalid checksum" or similar, you can ignore it; the system will calculate the correct value.

Im about to pull the trigger on my 21 with a 2.5" level and 285/75/18. I will need to increase my tire size in my truck comps but would also like to clear my Trans Adaptive Data tables, as i am the second owner of this truck and i would like to start fresh with my driving habits in the logs only.

Is there anyone in the Richmond Virginia area with a FORScan license that can help me out? I know I can DL it but I have ALL Mac products and I need Windows OS.

hey I run all mac products too and successfully have used forscan thanks to this forum, a few times.
if you still have a intel based mac just use boot camp built into the OS. download of Windows is free direct from Microsoft.

The GWM isn't a module that I'm going to make a public spreadsheet for.

You can disable the navigation in the cluster with forscan. Disable the navigation repeater in the apim and cluster. I believe 7D0-09-05 X0XX-XXXX-XXXX The zero is the bit to turn it off in the apim I think.

I dont know how that will affect other navigation functions like speed limit display.

I've been trying to delete turn by turn and speed limit sign in the cluster for a while.

Just looking to confirm that for Nav Repeater in the APIM, the value for * in X*XX-XXXX-XXXX is 0. Just lots of options to choose from.

Same for turn by turn, found this entry in the spreadsheet under the IPC. Just want to confirm *=0 for XXXX-X*XX-XX--

Am I missing any other changes to get rid of turn by turn and speed limit display?

My VIN is 1FTEW1EP0PKD13547.

You already have a 0 there in APIM so no change necessary.
Put a 0 here in IPC 720-05-01 xxxx x0xx xx--

Thanks, I'll make those changes and report back. Hopefully that takes care of the speed sign as well. It's one of my bigger annoyances with the IPC.

EDIT: Just found something in the APIM here. I'll have to see if this is the setting for the speed sign if it doesn't go away with the other changes.

Hi @Livnitup and @Jesse-Infotainment hope you both are doing well! Can you provide some advice

I replaced my 8" display screen with the 12" display, I kept the APIM the same and I am tapping into fuse #22 and fuse #29 in BCM fuse box to provide power to the screen. I made the change in forscan to the respective 12" display - and it works well most of the time. I also updated the cluster from the 2" to the 4" same from a similar build truck, I did not code the VIN to the cluster as I do not know how.

Issue: however every now and then I get a black screen that is random. Sync4 gets OTA updates, last one was 4.2.1, the ford app works just fine turning off/on remotely. Music plays and carplay works fine while the screen is black but I cant see anything until I turn ignition on/off once again. I have 2 DTCs when connecting FDRS. I tried updating APIM SW, but get the dreaded "USB error.." 15min into the update so I gave up on that one.

Should I tap into a different fuse?

Any ideas on what I can do to fix the DTCs? is there a service to get APIM be updated and IPC cluster flashed to my VIN (if I take them off and send them)?

Any ForScan sections to edit to solve the DTCs?

is it possible to disable the BMS (battery management system) in forscan? If not is it possible to disable the service charging system message that pops up when I unplug the BMS sensor?

You guys are awesome. Both changes eliminated the Nav speed warning and Turn by Turn.

Forscan's addictive. I went in thinking I'd do the above change and maybe Bambi mode and I ended up adding camera only speed sign recognition on a whim. Much happier with the truck now.

Maybe one of you can help.

I have lost the camera function of the shot below when in reverse. I press the camera mode button to see the icon (trailer with arrow) and it is still on the screen, but when press it, it does nothing. When I press the backup assist button, it will work, but send all kinds of stop now and configure trailer warnings. I used to be able to use it no matter the situation and only in reverse. Any ideas?

** Fixed it ** I had 7D0-01-01 xxxx - xxxx - FF because I have Trailer Backup Assist per the spreadsheet; Changed to FD and the image came back. Was checking through previous as-builts and noticed this was a change I had made. **
