I have 70% tint on the windshield and it's perfect, you barley can tell it's there. I'm old and blind and still have no problem seeing at night and it takes the glare off. My lights do come on more often / sooner but like you, I prefer that. Since I got a rock chip / spider crack now I'm going 50% when I change the windshield.
My windshield is also 70% and will be swapping to 50% due to rock chips.

Might just try and take a sharpie to the sensor.

Has anyone with the standard 400w inverter figured out how to enable the right side card to show the wattage being pulled on the system? I’ve tried enabling the IOD-on board generator flag but that didn’t seem to do anything. I keep a travel refrigerator/freezer plugged into the back of the console and it would be nice to keep an eye on the draw when plugging in something up front or in the bed.

When enabling the climate bar, the spreadsheet says to change a value to 2 for non powerboost and 6 for powerboost.

Both values enable the climate bar on a powerboost. What's different with the value at 6?

One bit can control multiple features. So choosing 2 would Remove powerflow MHT.

Powerflow Type (PT) • Climate Bar (CB)
2 = PT None • CB Enabled
6 = PT MHT • CB Enabled

The 400w "inverter" doesn't have a LIN connection to the BCM, so it can't report anything.

Also, the super square wave from the 400w inverter will not be good long term for any AC motor plugged into it. You should look into a pure sine-wave inverter, or switch to a DC cooler.

Ah okay. I thought it might work because the 2kw trucks will still show the 400w pane when it’s not turned on.

The cooler uses a typical switching power supply that doesn’t really care that much about waveform thankfully.

Wonder if it actually shows the reading, or it can do 400W "dumb" as if it was the base inverter.

I'll double check when I get home, but I 've been looking at this recently to wire in a new one using the existing wiring (to put in a pure-sine). I was concerned about this specifically because it was tied in on the Gen13, but the Gen14 uses a different base inverter than those.

What exactly is the powerflow MHT? Is it the option to go into Features and select the PowerFlow button? Or is it another visual added to the climate bar?

The one I saw was showing the actual load on the 400w side. My idea of the function just based on Fords documentation is the 2kw inverter is off until ProPower is turned on in Sync.

I’m sure it’s here somewhere but I’m getting a warning when I start the truck telling me to check headlamp system. Any help would be appreciated after enabling glare free

EDIT: something didn’t write and I found it. Sorry guys

I suppose you could tint the sensor or the windshield then. For some reason I was thinking you wanted it to be more sensitive only sometimes... I am still half asleep I suppose. But I am not sure there is anything in the FORScan addresses you could change that would do that
I have 50% on the windshield and don't really have an analog to compare it to as all of my vehicles have 50% windshield tint. I'd rate the lighting engagement as good. Only the darkest of super cloudy days have I found them on, most overcast days they are off.

I run screens in dark mode and the auto screen dimming isn't noticeable (no negative effects). I'm pretty sensitive to light which is why I tint the windshields. Helps oncoming glare considerably but isn't noticeable otherwise. Keeps the heat out though in summer!
