I have a 22 platinum. Been reading and am doing this for the first time. I got a couple easy ones done like double honk etc. quick question.
the “glare free” are these changes good to go without errors now? I saw way back someone may have had an issue. In regards to the instruction “ reset apim in forescan” can you tell me that process or how to do that?

One more question for cameras at speed. It says use fed or ff. That instruction is does it mean to type those letters in that same line? I ask because the line below contains fd already?

Well, don't I feel like the dumb shit?!
Don't go there... We all would be in that position if it wasn't for this forum and members sharing the knowledge that is contained within these threads.

Does anyone know of a way to adjust the sensitivity of the sensor to trigger headlights?
Many times when it’s over cast and or lightly raining I’d prefer them to turn on.

I keep a small folded rag in the cubby on the dashboard. If I want the lights to come on before mother nature can coax them on, I toss the rag over the sensor.
Seconds later, wallah!

Am I missing a reason why you wouldn't just use the headlight switch, moving it from AUTO to ON?

Convenience?

Also glare free headlights only works on the auto position, so I’d have to turn them from auto to on, then once it gets dark out turn them back to auto.

I think you would spend alot more time forcing them on, every time, than you would turning the dial for the headlamps. Unless you just tricked them in to staying on literally all the time

What?

All I would want is the sensor to be slightly more sensitive to how dark it is out.

I suppose you could tint the sensor or the windshield then. For some reason I was thinking you wanted it to be more sensitive only sometimes... I am still half asleep I suppose. But I am not sure there is anything in the FORScan addresses you could change that would do that

Huge thanks to everyone here, I didn’t think the double honk bothered me much, but now that it’s gone…

Unreal is great too, I did the 75 year splash screen at the same time, but it doesn’t appear to have taken, anyone have to do anything special for it beside reset APIM?

I have 70% tint on the windshield and it's perfect, you barley can tell it's there. I'm old and blind and still have no problem seeing at night and it takes the glare off. My lights do come on more often / sooner but like you, I prefer that. Since I got a rock chip / spider crack now I'm going 50% when I change the windshield.
