2 week vacation - trickle charge or not?

I’m going on a 2 week vacation and no one at home will be driving my truck (2024 POWERBOOST) while I am away. I’m not keen on running an extension cord to under the hood while I’m away unless it’s truly needed.

I do have a small Noco smart battery charger. Should I connect it while I am away?

I leave my house for 3-4 weeks. each year. In the past, i have left my 2018 volvo, my 2006 jeep LJ, and my 2015 Merc S550 there with no trickle. They all just start up just fine when i get back.

Dont drive my Raptor much in the summer months as I have a few fun cars and a motorcycle. Ive left it as long as three weeks, and it starts right up every time. Doesnt hurt, but if you dont want to run the cord, you may be fine?

First question: Do you still have the OEM Ford battery installed? If yes, then a trickle charger may help. I replaced my OEM battery about 4 months after delivery (Jun 21) and recently had occasion to let my PB stand for three weeks, no trickle charger or other thing. Had zero problems afterwards. It fired up just fine. No warnings, etc.

I'd probably just let it sit for two weeks. If either of the two batteries die, they are under warranty.

I left one time for 7 weeks and remote started it 2 times through Ford Pass and had no problems.
I although did have to replace the battery later. 22 Limited blend date 1-11-22 and it sat in a field waiting on parts, delivered 8-25-22.

I don't think there are "ghost draws." I have concluded the issue is those OEM Ford Batteries are defective. Since replacing mine 3 1/2 years ago I've had zero problems.

Just use the Ford app to schedule it to startup once or twice while away if you're concerned. Otherwise It'll almost certainly be fine.
