Are these all factory tie down areas?

This is my first truck ever. Hopefully I’m using the right terminology as well. Can someone help me determine if these are all factory and do I need anything else to use ratchet straps?
The previous owner left two straps in the storage compartment and I am planning on buying a couple retractable ones. Thanks!

Thanks! Thought the rear ones looked familiar. Also have one on the tailgate. Now, for those other factory tie down slots on the side, do I need anything else? Doesn’t seem like the greatest slot for threading a ratchet hook through it but I am not sure.

Ford calls them BoxLink plates. You can get tie down hooks that mount to them from Ford. Third parties make alternative versions too. I think they fit E-Track stuff too.

There are a number of options on Amazon and other sources for improving the utility of those plates (they're meant for attaching things). Be sure to confirm compatabiity with your 2024, I believe the plates may have changed sometime along the years Gen 14 production (? )

Just FYI, these were included from the factory with my 2022 Lariat, I find them very versatile, leave them in place all the time.

More FYI, another tie-down that I find very useful are these Angled Bull Rings for installation in the bed rail pockets.

Can't have too many robust tie-down points, IMO, I use 'em all at one time or another.

For straps I'm a fan of basic ratchet straps, often from harbor freight, they're cost effective, robust, and versatile IME. TIP - put your ratchet straps individually in HD ziplock freezer bags - keeps 'em from getting tangled, keeps 'em quiet when thrown in door-pockets or rear underseat storage bin.

Thanks everyone. I just wasn’t sure if I needed something or not. Seems odd that I need to buy extra pieces to utilize what ford installed from the factory. Why wouldn’t they just install something that could be used out the gate? Or can I technically use the ones I have if needed but the aftermarket items everyone is mentioning just adds more functionality?

It just their way to get you to spend more money with them I suppose. Plus, the truck came with a different type of plate on it. Also, how many ratchet straps is a reasonable amount? I just found out the previous owner left two in the storage compartment. I will be a very casual hauler. I planned on getting retractable ones for ease of use but wondering if the two will be good enough. I know it varies just curious.

I keep 4 plus a hand full of bungee cords and have never used all of the ratchet straps at one time. There is also a ratchet strap that is installed where the tie down plates are. Link attached, a little expensive.

Mine didn't come with the plates, just the 4 screw holes, so I bought these that included the plates, quite low priced I might add. Seem more than sturdy enough.

Wish there were some D rings in the floor attached to the frame though. Not found any such rings.

I'd recommend buying a pair of the retractable straps just because they're by far my favorite style. Only complaint is some of them have pretty short straps and won't work with bulky loads. Then you'd have your 2 existing straps as extras or when you need a longer reach.

Looking at the rhino USA straps on amazing. Although there is a brand called DC cargo mall that has a 4 pack for only 8 bucks more than the two pack of rhino straps.
Zero experience here but it seems like rhino is definitely a well known brand. Not sure on the other.

I have some Rhino soft shackles and they're good quality. Only thing I've purchased from DC Cargo mall is e-track rails and they're pretty nice, but it's also hard to mess up e-track rail. I'd choose the longer option if there's a difference, after that maybe rated capacity.

I have 4 ratchet straps, I usually only use 1 or 2 at a time. I like the bungees that have a hole instead of two hooks; since you can always get it to be the right size for whatever you're trying to tie down:

The bull rings in the rear stake pockets are are great (I have a back rack taking up the front stake pockets). Not having the tie down so low is really useful if you have a tarp or lumber/etc that you want to tie to the bed rail so it doesn't shift so much.

That and a couple of the small things that have plastic balls on the end for tarps If I'm hauling leaves, soil, or other garbage that might fly out. Those three things cover pretty much everything for me.
