Thank you! I was more looking for a refresher starting with the video. I am a visual learner.
so I can make a backup in the as built configuration before making any changes in the easy mode. Simple enough.
I want to do Bambi mode and remove rear view camera not available while driving. I know I can do the former in the as written section but the latter needs to be done in as built. The spreadsheet said to reset APIM after this change. Where do I do that? Is that under the wrench? I never bother...
Just watched some 40 min video on forscan. There appears to be a save all feature for backing up the as built modules. When you do this, it backs up all those available modules right?
However, the as written version where you just click enable/disable for example, there is no backup? Is that...
I’ve messaged them in the past about the lack of lock/unlock status. I mean the app can tell me my tire pressure. Certainly it should be able to tell me if my truck is locked or unlocked.
My biggest takeaways after 4/5 months of owning my PB.
1. This thing drinks gas until it’s truly warmed up. If you do a lot very short trips that don’t allow getting to proper operating temp, you will get bad gas mileage. I know this is true about any car but go onto number two.
2. Adding on to...
Has anyone done any calculations as to whether premium fuel pays off? In my previous explorer ST, I was tuned and used premium gas all the time. I know with pretty much all Ford turbo engines, premium is recommended, but not required. I’m enjoying going back to regular gas for once but being...
Still 5.20 here on iOS.
What’s the security monitoring package ?
I believe mine has it but I’m not sure. I have setting about inside motion sensors and there is an option to select ask on exit. Just aside, if I leave that off, does the system remained armed all the time? Assuming the vehicle is...
I bought my PB for the hybrid, better gas mileage, and the other added bonuses of the PB. I will likely never tow anything, although I am looking at a camper now just because I can lol I will haul things every once in a while, but I’m a very casual truck owner if that makes sense.
I’m getting...
Appreciate it! Enjoying it so far. I looked briefly this afternoon and didn't see anything. Unless I am missing some secret storage compartment lol The passenger side is just the battery under the seat and then the other side I have already filled up. I don't believe anything is in my...
I have noticed that if I’m doing a lot of city driving when there’s a lot of flip-flopping between ice and electric, temperatures tend to sit higher, pushing even as high as 220° sometimes. If I’m doing all highway with minimal to no electric, I sit around 190 to 200. My understanding is that...
Honestly have no idea. I even popped my head inside to try and see if any branding labels, and nothing. You’re right though, it does feel more durable than straight plastic.
Searched that but doesn’t seem like that’s meant for that.
I am thinking Meguiar’s Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer to really get the black back and then periodically treat it with 303.
Bought a used f150 and it had a tonneau cover with it. It was very faded when I got the car a month ago. Not sure what brand it is but it is a hard cover. I put my 303 protectant on it and it helped a lot but it seems to be fading again rather quickly. Any recommendations? Maybe I just need to...
Thanks, that’s what I was leaning towards!
Looking at the rhino USA straps on amazing. Although there is a brand called DC cargo mall that has a 4 pack for only 8 bucks more than the two pack of rhino straps.
Zero experience here but it seems like rhino is definitely a well known brand. Not...
I was surprised to find in my 24 that you have to pay even for basic navigation. I never use factory nav but it’s always a nice backup to have. I can’t comment on how well it works but google maps, Waze, and Apple Maps all do work great so I cannot see the factory system being worth the money.
I think the difference is mainly just how the vehicles are built and what they are made for. The prius is made for fuel efficiency. The PB is not. It's a nice little benefit and many of us have figured out how to take advantage of it even more. But I think they did it mainly for bigger power...
Got it! Makes sense for them to pull such a move lol so basically they install a mount from the factory that allows you to later add the necessary hardware that is truly needed to actually use the die downs.
Also, how many ratchet straps is a reasonable amount? I just found out the previous...
