I'd like to get TPMS sensors on my camper. Going with the Ford's setup with a rear camera for $1100+ is a little too pricey for me.

I found these sensors only and they appear to work with the F-150 info screen for my '24 Lariat, but I don't see any reference to a trailer or if the signal from a trailer would be strong enough to reach the truck.

Has anyone installed these on a trailer?

Here's the link.

so do you think if you install these that some screen will show trailer tire pressure?

the new trailer we are buying, like our previous trailer includes the TST TPMS set up but id prefer to not have another display on the dash

I know the sensors that are sold with the trailer camera work with the truck display. I’m just trying to figure out if these do too.

perhaps worth noting based on review of the wiring diagrams ....

The Ford Accessory Trailer TPMS
  • Uses a trailer-mounted receiver (trailer TPMS module) for the signals from the trailer sensors
  • The trailer TPMS module is hard wired to Gateway Module A (GWM) connector pins 24 & 11 for circuits MS2 CAN (+) & (-).
The truck's TPMS
  • Uses the truck-mounted Radio Transceiver Module (RTM) for the signals from the truck sensors
  • The truck's RTM is hard-wired to Gateway Module A (GWM) connector pins 16 & 3 for circuits MS1 CAN (+) & (-).
The two systems described above are each distinctly different systems communicating to distinctly different sections of the IPC display menu (one for the truck TPMS, another for the trailer TPMS)

IMO
  • The truck TPMS system will only discriminate and display data for 4 sensors on the IPC vehicle TPMS menu
  • Trailer TPMS data can only be displayed on the IPC trailer tire info menu
  • The only way to get trailer tire sensor data communicated to the appropriate IPC menu section is by using the proper Ford Accessory trailer-mounted sensors and receiver module which communicates to the IPC via the Network Communication (GWM) path dedicated to that purpose.
In other words, I'm betting that no matter what sensor is installed in trailer wheels that will not yield display of trailer tire data; not because of any receiver range issue but because they won't have a path to communicate their data to the appropriate IPC display menu section (the towing > trailer tire info section).
