I don’t know that I made sure I was in a known working condition when I installed my Comma so I wouldn’t have to ask too many questions (despite that I did still ask @Ajzride a lot of dumb questions!).

If your Blue Cruise and lane centering aren’t working you can try your Comma / Bluepilot but I can’t say either way if it will work. If it is working it should 100% work.

Are you having issues after the IPMA update or no?
Not as far as driving is concerned. I haven't driven it yet because I'm in the middle of fdrs updates. After I did the ipma update I get a drc that the ipma is not responding. I can't remember if that was a drc before I started the update process. I do know I swaped it out a year ago with Jesse for a 2021 module to get bc 1.2.
I have a pm to Jesse right now to see if that could have been a issue after the swap.
I do know that my comma was working flawlessly with ACC mode.

I was messing around in fdrs and accidentally clicked on ipma reset learned values. So now I think I have to recalibrate. And I forgot the procedure. No matter what I do I end up screwing something up

If you clicked that you 100% have to recalibrate at least the front camera. I did that (intentionally) last week

Can you please remind me how to recalibrate? I can't remember if I did it in fdrs or forscan.

Best to take that to the FDRS thread, this thread is muddy enough with OpnePilot issues.

Staging is where I would start. If you have poor control switch to staging-1.1

Is 2.0 still viable? Or is that staging?

staging is currently holding the 2.0 logic.
Next week I hope to update staging to 2.1 and will make a copy for 2.0 into staging-2.0. moving forwards I'll always make a backup branch of staging before updating it.

Mostly improvements for Mavericks and Escapes, but there will also be a big update to lane changes to try and make them better.

I have been updating my truck the last few days. I have been on the fdrs group. They are going nuts over trying to get bloecruse 1.4.
Alot say it's incredible. It stays in the lane, doesn't just up and quit. They talk about searching for bluecruse roads.

Then I think. They would be blown away with the comma. I want so much to say something.
Ya all are idiots. I already have lane change, I already have perfect lane control. I already have speed control and I can drive to my local grocery store hands free. Every road is a bluecruse road.
Bluecruse 1.2 was soooo bad that when 1.4 came out they thought they won the lottery. And is still not half what comma is. I'm going to ket them have their day.
I'm so fortunate.

If anyone is in the Orlando / West Palm Beach area and could help another member out by testing your Comma (just the device, they have a harness) in their truck, please send me a DM.

Thanks

I apparently have some issues with the truck that are going to cause extended down time.
In the mean time I might as well get a handle on my ford cable.
It's thought that if I unplug the comma from the data cable the splitter is supposed to pass data as if it were not there. In my case when I unplug the cable fron the comma half my data buss can not be seen. I have to go to the ipma and remove the splitter.
I think reading that there are relays that might not being reset correctly.
I'm willing to purchase a new ford cable but I want to be sure that this action is not normal. It's a big pain to remove the splitter every time I need to read codes.

You are correct this is not normal and could be an issue with the relay.
