What about a knob seems unmanly? I just want more space in the console. If my truck had a little twisty dial to put it in gear, I guess I’d have to hang my purse on it and walk away….just my .02
I do like the functionality of a corner bumper step for sure. Any factory or aftermarket drop down corner step is just another piece that can snag and rip off on the trail for me unfortunately
Just my feelings on it and to each their own. I drove a rental ford escape with one and it felt….delicate. Like turning on an easy bake oven, not engaging the transmission of a truck. Not my jamWhat about a knob seems unmanly? I just want more space in the console.

I've never had any rattles from the dash. The lower A-pillar covers rattle (can be fixed with felt tape), and my console lid is starting to rattle, but the dash is itself seems solid. My 2012 Sierra by contrast had the typical cracked dash and made plenty of noise.Just bought an XLT, 302a, FX4 with only 3k miles on it. Love the truck but what is with all the dash rattles? The Chevy that I traded in, didn't have that issue.
