Yup, I know that and it's what I do. I just don't understand why they turn on at all when there is so much light around.

I don't think I can set it for each fob on the CX-5, but I'll have to double check. She wants it on hers, then we have the spare hanging up which I use - I don't carry my own key because my ring is already bulky between the F-150 key and all my work keys.
I’m a certified YouTube mechanic, so here’s this….

Good luck then that breaks! ? (y)
Cadillac had some seats with even more settings somewhere around 1990. They were on special editions of their highest luxury model (Deville D'Elegance). I've never heard of problems with those on my cadillac forums.

Ford is at the other extreme; you can't even get the base of an F-150 seat to lift the front of the seat separately from the back below Lariat (although the XLT can apparently tilt the entire seat assembly.

How about the ability to record video with the 360 degree camera option. The cameras are there so why not use them.
This, would definitely want this!!!

I’m surprised that no one has attempted this as an after-market mod. The cameras feed into a computer(s), so cannot their feed be spliced off and saved on a SIM card? I’m guessing they don’t have a bespoke connection (but these are automobiles so probably are, lol!) and I’m guessing a simple control unit could be made up to start recording when camera is energized/ON, and stop when camera is OFF, then some logic to write over (like a flight data recorder).

If I was retired, or more savvy with electronics, it’d be a fun project to try!

All trims don't have front camera sprayers?
I don’t think any do anymore. I recall hearing maybe 21s did and then they were eliminated? My 24 lariat has neither a rear nor front camera sprayer.

Yes, they stopped at some point. My 2020 had one, my 2023 doesn't. I don't remember if I mentioned it in this thread or not, but my 2020 one was problematic anyway. The jet leaked when it got cold out. Dealer replace it once but it happened again, so I ended up just disconnecting it.

My 22 has the front sprayer, none of them ever came with a rear spray.

Same with my 22. And the rear lens gets yucky all the time.
But adding one would have been a pain, for sure. Just one more thing to dis-X/re-connx when the tailgate comes off (not sure how often that happens but since it CAN come off, it shouldn’t be hard)

Not only that but if it's not used often, it can take quite a while for the fluid to get back there as it just Ys off of the windshield circuit. I rarely use the rear wiper spray on the MME and it can take ~3 seconds or so for fluid to reach the rear window. It'd need a dedicated pump to be viable. The aero of most vehicles ends up leaving the rear section dusty/dirty due to the vortices that just throw dirt on the rear. Make a habit of going around and wiping all of the cameras at a regular interval to alleviate this.
