Our headlights are so freaking bright in normal, I don't know that I've turned on my brights twice in the 5 months I've had my truck.I didn't even know my xl has auto bright lights, but they work like a champ.

In my area, when coming to a curve on the highway, where I just passed a car and my lights are on low beam, and I can see a car coming around the corner, my lights will flash to high beam and then back to low beam as the approaching car gets farther around the curve. If I could set a 5 to 10 second delay, the flashing to high beam would not happen. So I usually turn off AHB.The camera for the auto high beams is situated above the rearview mirror stalk which is intended to "see" oncoming headlights or tail lights ahead of you when there are hills (above your line of sight) I find the speed of the system to be very effective for the deer in my area while also not blinding oncoming drivers
If you flash your high beams when AHB is on, they will turn off until next key cycle. Or you can shut them off on the Drive Assist screen in Sync.I just wish I could default the auto high beams to off if I'm in an area with lots of ambient light (streetlights). I only use high beams if I'm on a rural road without any other lighting.
I might be the odd one out, but my wife's CX-5 has it and it drives me nuts when I'm cleaning it or changing the oil. I'm so used to keeping my key in my pocket now that having to leave it behind to prevent it from constantly locking feels wrong.

4) Blind spot monitoring light INSIDE the truck, maybe on the A-pillar, or plastic panel in the corner of the window. My wife's QX80 has a nice light inside the vehicle and it's A LOT easier to see out of your prereferral
@WalterMitty I saw a thread someone put an led light in the sail trim on inside of door and tapped into the blis in mirror.
Yup, I know that and it's what I do. I just don't understand why they turn on at all when there is so much light around. If you flash your high beams when AHB is on, they will turn off until next key cycle. Or you can shut them off on the Drive Assist screen in Sync.
I don't think I can set it for each fob on the CX-5, but I'll have to double check. She wants it on hers, then we have the spare hanging up which I use - I don't carry my own key because my ring is already bulky between the F-150 key and all my work keys. For the CRV it's a feature you can turn On or Off, and even have it set differently to each FOB. I have it set on the kids FOB, but not for mine![]()
The high beams don't typically come on with sufficient outside lighting. There are likely varying strategies to this threshold. They should also shut off below certain speeds. It's not perfect, but given the infinite scenarios they operate in, they're pretty good. Only real issue I have is the low-speed cut off on winding roads in the middle of nowhere.I just wish I could default the auto high beams to off if I'm in an area with lots of ambient light (streetlights). You forgot personal chef and kitchenette.Portal axles
Turbo diesel with no DEF/SCR/ EPA bullshit
ZF8 speed transmission
Recaro seats from the Raptor R as an option
Climate control from the app
auto-tinting glass
Flex Fuel capability for all other engines
Maybe in real city driving they wouldn't. To me, a small town with street lights is bright and has no need for high beams, but I acknowledge it's probably only bright by rural New England standards. My 2020 behaved about the same, so I don't think it's anything wrong with my truck. The high beams don't typically come on with sufficient outside lighting. Good for them. Also, Dodge now has 22 way power seats in their upper trims!
