ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Config seems to be off in the IPMA. You're showing this:

If you don't have FORScan, get it. Go to this first line in the IPMA and change it to this:

8A50 A215 AExx

Write the change, close the session and then go to the wrench icon and reboot the IPMA. Try that to see if it activates BC. If it does, lmk and then we can talk about upgrading you to the newer version. If this does not work, I will consult with the local guru to see what's going on.

FORScan is free and the Mongoose can also be used to run that. FDRS is not capable of changing in config on modules. It can only fixed with FORScan.

FORScan is a very powerful tool, but you can easily mess something up if you're not careful.

AB format. You can't do it in easy mode.

I reset my ford pass to the truck and still get coming soon

Did this, nothing has changed in my ford pass app, still says “coming soon”. Should I reset ford pass?

Mine did not activate until the next day if I remember right. I was annoyed that it wasn't instant after all the hours spent updating modules and then finally had a message saying it was activated many hours later.

Fordpass does not need to show active for it to work. Take it out for a drive and test it. Remember you need to be on a road mapped for BC for it to work.
