I was going to say the other day, but ethernet issues must plague numerous other pieces of hardware as well. I had a tractor this summer where the processor would never communicate with the modem no matter what I tried. Swapped the processor and started talking right away and they are both connected through ethernet, so funny how that works out.

It is annoying but I think there have been 4 IPC updates in 4 years so it is a rare event. As Rugedraw mentioned in another thread a good thing to do on football Sunday.

I'm just going to wait until they bother to send it to me OTA then I'll know it is ready to go in FDRS. I did same with the update in middle of year that failed for six weeks.

My mach-e should be getting it any day now. Surprised it hasn't already hit it. If I had to bet, EA trucks might be seeing it some time in Jan. Not sure if they'd try and deploy around Christmas as it's a poor time to be bricking vehicles.

A few mach-es had 6.8 brick their cars requiring a tow if they didn't have FDRS to reprogram it themselves.

I still say that Ford should continue our Blue Cruise subscription until 1.3 rolls out. This would give people a chance to try it out and see if they like it. Also extend the $600 for 3 yrs to those of us that were early adopters. I bet it would increase the subscription rate of purchase. One month to try it once it becomes available. Ford really has nothing to lose and everything to gain.

That's crazy. That was the original renewal price but they had confirmed it was going to $800/year.

Mijes still good for 2 years, I hope I get that deal when my free 3 years is up.

Busy at work, but as soon as I get a chance later today, I'm buying my 3 year/$600 plan. The more they sell, the more incentive they have to get it to us. I hope so, anyway.

Can you re-up for 3 years if you are still in the trial period? My initial 3 free years is good until. OCT 2025. My truck is a 22 model. I heard it was being raised to $800 /year which is insane, but I'd glady extend my plan another 3 years for $600.

No, that plan was only for job 1 owners who bought their trucks without BC.

On another note, an F150 reported getting 6.13.0 which is the CMR update needed for BC 1.4. We're getting there.

Is it bad if my latest update was only 6.1.0 back in October?
