I know Ford says the F150 Hybrid suppose to have
430 Horsepower
570 Torque
My Question. Has any Powerboost owners ever taken their own Trucks and had them put on a dyno to get real power numbers?

You always run 93 octane? What mods have you done to your truck? The only mods I have done other than what the previous owner did was I added the Roush Cold Air Intake. And Toyo Open Country A/T III LT 285/70/18lighter tires weight 58 psi. Front 60psi. Rear 65psi

Go to their website and order the tuner for your truck. It'll run you about 700.0 not including the additional tune profiles. Flash the truck and enjoy the additional power.

The dyno sheet isn't for my truck, it was posted on the 5 Star Tuning Facebook page. My truck is still on the stock tune and has never been on a dyno.

Haven't personally had mine on a Dyno, but a few videos from Livernois:

Powerboost -

Newer Ecoboost revision -

The latter doesn't specify the PB, but I've noticed drivability and power gains in the PB tunes since that video was released, specifically the V6 to V8 revision.

They're saying that's to the ground or are they trying to extrapolate crank?

The Livernois video posted in this thread shows 383hp/500tq stock at the wheels (47hp/70tq loss to drivetrain). And with their tune 492hp/595tq at the wheels.

So I'm guessing somewhere around 550hp/675tq at the crank.
I mean 430hp/570tq at the crank is a ridiculous set of numbers to begin with.

I am running the Livernois tune on my pb with the 91-93 performance eboost tune, and my only complaint is the low speed limits in my area. I live in a suburban area and most local roads are 30-45mph, and highways are 65mph.

I will admit to some aggressive from stop launches to the speed limit (or just slightly above) but crazy that you can dd a truck that will get you those performance numbers when you mash the pedal, and still yield 25+ mpg if you baby it, travel at mostly low speeds on mostly flat roads with it in eco. Def high in the smiles per gallon category, but I'm not running around town doing burnouts or going above the speed limit, or driving near the tire speed limit on the highway. Those days are long gone, and when I was doing that my cars were all significantly slower.

Re: Stock (93 octane): 421.1 HP at 5350 rpm, 569.1 at 3550 rpm.
That seems crazy high numbers with nearly no drivetrain loss (9hp and .9tq), super impressive.

They claim these are wheel SAE J1349 HP and torque numbers

Is Ford partaking in the Japanese gentlemen's agreement? Should they have said the powerboost has "276 hp" :ROFLMAO:

Those seem like crazy high stock numbers at the wheels, but thats awesome if Ford is pushing out engines with those numbers. Seems way off from the Livernois numbers. I assume dynos figures vary, but at least you can see gains with consistency.

Huh. Those seem to almost exactly match Fords crank numbers….Anyone know what fuel Ford uses for their results?
