One of usI keep coming back to this thread and I say I don't need them. Well, I just ordered them. Haha
Turns out being subscribed to this thread finally broke me down.
I'm familiar with forscsn but feel dumb in this conversation. In Forscan I believe it says Load AB which is just a way to say load as built. Then just hit write all for the module. Mine required no changes in any values as I did not add anything other than the new module with temperature readout. Ironically they worked even before I rewrote the module when nothing else did. Let me know if you need anything else on my end.
No, it will not affect other modules. open the HVAC module and click “save all” and make sure you name it something recognizable. Swap your HVAC module, and get back into forscan, DO NOT load previous profile, allow forscan to find all module. Then open the HVAC module and click “load all” and it will write in all of your factory as builts, then finally, click “write all” and it will load up all your factory as builts into the new moduleI'm familiar with forscsn but feel dumb in this conversation.
When you say load the as built, is that for a specific section in forscan? Or do you have to overwrite everything back to as built or stock?
I've made a handful of Forscan changes, like no double honk, glare free lights, Bambi mode etc.
Will I lose all of that and have to make the changes again?
Thank you for the explanation, this is what I was hoping, but honestly I haven't used forscan except the one time about a month ago, so I'm rusty on my terminology. No, it will not affect other modules. open the HVAC module and click “save all” and make sure you name it something recognizable. They got you, too? ~Sigh~ Welcome.I keep coming back to this thread and I say I don't need them. Well, I just ordered them. Haha

You will only be loading as built into your HVAC module which I am almost certain you have not made any changes to. You will not lose anything you have changed in other modules.I'm familiar with forscsn but feel dumb in this conversation.

Haha, yup, I'll install this when I install the lighted cupholder and charger light and glove box light. They got you, too? ~Sigh~ Welcome.
Thanks for confirming! You will only be loading as built into your HVAC module which I am almost certain you have not made any changes to. You will not lose anything you have changed in other modules.
You're welcome. Here watch this video which was in this thread earlier, that's how I learned to do it.Thanks for confirming!
Just use boot camp windows with your Mac, that’s what I do.You’re probably correct. In additional new, it just means that I get to purchase another laptop. (I’m mac based, so a new windows laptop will HAVE to be purchased.)
No boot camp on the new macs with m series processors. I messed around with crossover and a trial of parallels to get it to work but no luck.Just use boot camp windows with your Mac, that’s what I do.
