Yeah @Jesse-Infotainment has been having me try all kinds of things, but no luck so far.

I doubt this could be it, but I don't have to have the Streaming service active to get Alexa do I?

Streaming is needed IF you want to listen to your amazon music through Alexa. Its 10$ a month. I dont think it is required for ALexa.

I know it sounds crazzy but worst case call ford pass. See what they can do.> I actually have had a few peopl eget lucky lately and get things resolved.

Yeah that makes sense, I don't think it would be a big deal if they decided to standardize that now. Makes way more sense to keep things consistent with software/UI when possible.

Yeah that is why this update IDENTICAL to 2022 package is such a big deal. This and the gateway are finally unified across the F150 all the way to 2022 being built now.

Alexa never shows up anywhere in Sync as an option

Those that have lost Securalert. We may need the TCU update. I am pretty sure there will be one rolling out. The 2022s had the gateway. Then the APIM and now recently a TCU update.

So if we dont get it back up we can wait for the TCU update and see what happens after that. Ive looked at and tried everything I can think of. So it will most likely be a TCU update. Securalert was introduced in a Update of the TCU originally. SO possibly that is the issue. Just something to put out here.

Just finished update to 22228 on a '21 Job 1 truck. No issues, just takes a few minutes.

Enabled UE via Jesse's as-built changes and it required a full APIM power cycle (as expected).

Easy peasy update. Give yourself lots of time though and when it says to restart your truck to finish open the window, turn it off, close the doors, take your keys out and give it a good 30 minutes minimum to make sure it’s done. When complete if you just look in without opening the doors none of the USB lights or the front control button LEDs underneath the APIM should be on or flashing. Needs to be completely dark.

I didn't need to do any of that voodoo. When it said to restart the truck, I turned the truck off, opened the door, closed it. And restarted it. 15 minutes later or so it told me it was OK to remove the USB stick.

Yeah, my process is turn off the vehicle, get out, lock it, go drink a can of $BEVERAGE, take a piss, and when I'm back it's good to go

Yep have been watching that, still "Activation Pending". Just didn't know if it popped up in the truck or somewhere in the app itself. I'm not master resetting again, it's a PITA to set everything up again.

It showed up for me automatically after I did a fordpass reset. A QR code comes up on the screen to scan to take you to amazon to activate your truck with your amazon account.

So you’ve obviously done the removal of your truck in FP, master reset, APIM/GWM reset in Forscan and re-added your truck to FP ensuring you have decent cell service to activate your truck in FP and activate BC, NAV and Alexa if you have those options?

No Alexa for me either. Did all the above and still just shows pending activation in FP.

Took about an hour to 1.5 hours for mine to show up after the master reset.

Can you do this update on a 2021 with just the FRDS and a usb drive? Do you need the cable to build the usb drives?
