Bingo!

This is not an accident, it’s by design and often the terminology is deliberately baroque in an effort to make you dependent on the dealership ‘experts,’ just in the same manner that back in feudal Germany before Martin Luther; you could only get a bible in latin.

The language being different between manufacturers is also to both encourage tribalism and enable another trademark. So we often have identical systems with completely different names.
Of course - none of them work well for simple guys like me. I wanted a truck with a V8, brown leather interior, and 4wd that can tow a lot. Plus for AC seats because dammit it’s hot down here.
Apparently- no matter which brand I’m shopping - that combo is expensive AF.

Since this said it applies to scheduled and unscheduled orders, I'm curious - has anyone actually received a WS with this removal yet? I got my sticker last night and it is (I'm sure purposefully) ambiguous. I have a 501A because of course I do so I'm just missing the cutoff. However, the stickers for all the trucks in my build week have removed any reference to SiriusXM, regardless of trim/packages (sorry to my fellow build week-ers for being nosy and looking at your stickers). At the same time, there is absolutely no reference to any sort of removal or the $200 removal discount on my WS, and it also looks like the folks who ordered connected built-in nav still have it also, regardless of trim/packages. Maybe they still have a few and they're getting through a couple more weeks before they go forward with this? It's definitely a strange one.

Rumors are that the Connected Built-in Navigation is still getting included on above Lariat trims.
But nobody could possibly guarantee that will continue.

Two things are certain - death and change. At this point I think FoMoCo is trying to change our trucks to death.

Lest there be any confusion on the matter, let me clearly state, all communication from ford to Customers of ordered vehicles sucks. It is like there is someone in marketing whose sole job is to alienate Customers, & that imbecile is asked to articulate every communication. They say stupid crap like, “in order to ensure your satisfaction, we have decided to delay shipment on your ordered vehicle for 2 more weeks“. Any idiot could word that better!

If ford truly wants to move to a mostly ordered vehicle model, they are clearly going about it the exact wrong way. I for 1 do not anticipate ever ordering another ford & I am at over 200 (business included) at this point.

Sort of forgetting that naming the same thing with different marketing speak discourages direct comparison by consumers.

I just got my email from Ford. Scheduled for production week of July 11th. My window sticker is not available online yet, so I can't see if I lost Sirius/XM or not. Sales Manager said that his "preview" showed it NOT removed when he looked. I'll keep you guys posted.

Looks like you’re correct Snakebitten. Got the VIN and a 6/20 build week email this morning. Under accessories on the tracker, connected built in is still there for my Platinum. My understanding is 501A and below are the only trims affected.

I just checked the tracker after reading your post. Check out what they "deleted" from my XL:

I was really hoping for the "Raptor 37 Graphics" and Multicontour Seats", but oh well.

I have an XLT 302a, 5x5', Sport package being shipped currently (hopefully on a train now). Had blend date of 5/13. Then had a week or so chip hold.

The only removal I have is the contour seats. My WS still shows Sirius. Well, I have removal for Auto Stop/Start, but I think that's because I got the Powerboost Hybrid which has it included automatically in that.

@Vin - Mine also had the raptor graphic removal, but I believe that was because it gets replaced with the Sport logo and in your case its the STX logo. I don't think that's a negative removal, but that's just in my research.

I ordered mine late March.
Ok. I ordered mine on 3-22-22 and took delivery on 5-11-22. Nothing deleted on my end. Must have been lucky. Good luck with yours!

I'm probably going to cancel my order. With everything getting deleted that I want in a new truck I don't see the point in having a paired down model. I have a GMC Sierra I was switching from that only has about 80k miles on it. I tend to buy a truck every 10 years or so and had decided I was done with GMC's so I made the switch.

I'll probably roll the dice and place an order when the 23 order banks open up and pray I can actually get the truck I wanted.
