Enjoyed a career where I excelled at creating problems for my bosses. Got lots of awards for my skill and diligence doing so.
Lol... classic.... those of us who have served know that that is one of life's simple pleasures (and helps keeps you sane)....

Thank you for your service...

I was working dirty thirties……did a lot of the Spec OPS birds
Warning highjack sort of
This place introduced me to the excellent program of contractors for government.
The shop was teamsters, waaay behind in deliveries
Not so much the folks on the floor as it was the leadership of said floor folks. They had a couple snappers that kept the machine flowing, but also 2 that shoukd have been sent away
Anywho grumman in st agustine built New outer wings and center wing fuselage sections, employed hundreds
Shipped to us, just as we needed them
Congress refused marines to buy fa18 electronic warfare birds
So the aged ea6b workhorse got not overhauled, but rebuilt with all new wings wires, hydraulics, fuel etc
We put new in 96% of the plane.
Gave it a 20 year life.
I think they flew it another 12.
But the shop was Uber behind
So we as contractors came in to augment...6 days a week 10 hr days
Best part is we got paid 2x more than the civil service folks...
But ...the employee impact in the area was over 2 thousand in shops, factories etc.
It was a very good 6 months..
??
Go sandcrabs

No, as a urinal cake replacer, I have the lowest job on the totem pole.
Depends on definition of 'lowest'
I might be able to claim the 'bottom' of the totem pole
Retired colon and rectal surgeon
4yr- USAF
33yr- private and academic practice (I participated in the training of >100 surgical chief residents and 45 colon and rectal surgeons, plus many students)
For me, taking care of patients was an honor and not work (very old-fashioned with excellent mentors)

Ours are gas burners and we use them to produce steam and electricity for the facility.
