Installed my 6112s yesterday after work. Fought with the lower studs for about 30 minutes on the driver side and couldn’t quite get them to clear the lower arm. A Milwaukee torch blade solved that problem. The passenger side only took about 40 min from lug nuts off to lug nuts on.

Installed the rear 5100s today and gave it a quick rinse.

The step makes PAT even more functional and safer. The bumper step is too shallow. If your heel slips under load, you're toast. Also makes bed access so much easier. Wife and little kiddos love it. Easily a top 3 upgrade.

I found the original OEM step on eBay for $189.00; Amazon didn't have them 3 months ago. Love mine, I'm in my late 60's so it makes getting in and out so much easier. Easy install also and glad I didn't spend the $449.00, the cost when I bought my KR in 2024.

Should I do the rear dual exhausts bumper swap or keep it as is?

yours looks great. nice work. i would not have attempted the install myself. here's a pic in black with the dual exhaust bumber. not exactly the same color as yours, but close and somethong to ponder thats really close. you cannot go wrong either way.

Did you add black tailgate lettering to your truck? I thought about doing this and it looks like yours has it. If so do you have any pictures in the sun? Your truck is looking good.
