Reconsider the S-type. It's loud, very loud. I bought the side exit S-type for my 2.7. I lasted just a few days before I converted it to the Touring. It was an expensive mistake, so be sure that's what you want.
I chose the side because I dont like the look of the rear exit without the bumper...
I have just some simple requests
For the STX trim, a leather wrapped steering wheel should at least be an option. I get the STX is a XL, but I think most of us would appreciate the option instead of having to swap it ourselves
I dont like the digital dash, an analog dash would be better, but...

These are them, but something must be wrong with the auction, no way are they worth over $500
I want to say I paid around $50
An electric leaf blower does wonders for speeding up the drying process. Also helps prevent drips.
Look for a 200mph+ blower. Just be careful not to kick up debris while using it.
If you have an air compressor you can also use the air nozzle to dry, but I find the wider mouth of the leaf...
Truck looks good. I like what you did with the fender vents, I hadn't thought of that.
I have the door handle covers as well. They've been holding up great. The same eBay seller has painted mirror caps also. They aren't perfect, you can see gaps around the mirror side, but from the outside they...
The S-type cold start is very noticeable, your neighbors won't be pleased. Go with the Touring, you won't be disappointed. Mellower but still sounds very good
Today I installed my console vault from Ford.
I had the half safe in my 2019, but I guess that company doesn't exist anymore and I dont really like the way the other companies half safe mounts. I dont really put much in my console anyway, so this should do fine.
I'd like to figure out a magnet...
Same.
My 2018 and 2019 didn't shift like that. It is quite annoying. I use the +/- button to lock out gears 8,9 and 10 around town. It helps.
I'm guessing Ford put some programming into the transmission for fuel economy
I hand wash only.
I would be concerned the high pressure water and the brushes would rip them off.
The adhesive holds well, but that's a lot to put it through
Great. They've been in the hot sun, rained on, bugs and dirt etc. I've washed it a few times as well.
They're still holing in place and look great. Very little if any scratching. I'm pretty impressed with them
Replaced the rubber STX wheel with an OEM leather wheel. Swapped the buttons to the new wheel's aluminum colored trim too. I preferred the new trim over the STX's black
Today I fixed the biggest issue with the STX, the cheap rubber steering wheel. I replaced it with an OEM leather wheel from beat for $200.
I liked the aluminum colored trim the new wheel came with vs the black one on the STX but the buttons on the new wheel were different. No biggie only 3...
Oh boy.
You are going to get everyone telling you not to do it, it sounds like crap etc. They're right, it will sound like crap. No exhaust will change that. If that matters to you, leave it stock or do something mild like a resonator delete.
If you're like me and like your truck to make noise...
Those are stock wheels off a STX. You should have no problem finding a used set on facebook marketplace for under the cost Ford wants for 1.
I've heard of that website before but I dont know of anyone that's purchased from them
Forgive me for nit picking, but your exhaust tip isn't seated all the way. If you get a rubber mallet and some wood and give it a few good wacks on the end, that gap between the pipe and the tip will close all the way hiding those little clips inside that hold it on.
If you're happy with it the...
