Honestly, who cares what people may think unless your truck/car is getting vandalized over some mistaken identity crisis.....getting my truck mistaken for being a UGA edition is just a bit too much![]()

I'm in a place where even my doc's plate says GO DAWGS. I'd rather not have any ambiguity regarding my support for the team (or lack thereof).Honestly, who cares what people may think unless your truck/car is getting vandalized over some mistaken identity crisis.
I have gotten the ceramic on my windows in the last couple of trucks, and there is a haze to them. Is nano-ceramic different, or the same thing? What can I get to eliminate the haze, and also provide the heat protection. It gets hot in San Antonio, so the heat thing is a factor. what would the best option be for tinting? so many questionsI sell/install tint and the % level is secondary, mostly used for privacy and your vehicle comes standard with 20% on the rears. You want a hi performance film like Ceramic that will block 80-90% of the solar heat and comes in any % from 70 to 5. Redline Restyling is in your city and sells Geoshield tint so check them out.
F-150 looking sharp! Hope you're loving the ride.I applied a 50% LLumar ceramic tint on the windshield, Scorpion Shield Series (Nano-Ceramic)15% on the front windows, and 20% on the back and rear windows, which essentially totals 5% w/ the factory privacy tint.

I cant speak for the dozens of brands out there but you got a brand of tint with hi amounts of haze in it. That is what happens in some inferior brands that have alot of it in their technology, 2.0 to 2.5nm vs. almost not noticeable amounts of 0.8nm. Do research where you live and get a product demo/guarantee just like anything else. We only use Geoshield films, so look at the ProNano film description vs. their C2. https://geoshieldusa.com/products/pro-nanoI have gotten the ceramic on my windows in the last couple of trucks, and there is a haze to them. Can't say I've seen that issue on any high quality tint.I have gotten the ceramic on my windows in the last couple of trucks, and there is a haze to them. I took my truck out to them today reasonably priced for ceramic tint. Got 20% on the front door and the equivalent to 10% on the rear doors and window. Also got a sun strip on the windshield. We have some crappy weather here currently and the tint still needs time for everything to evaporate so this is the best picture I could get todayI sell/install tint and the % level is secondary, mostly used for privacy and your vehicle comes standard with 20% on the rears. Yea the guys here told me not to roll the windows down for at least three days but it could take about a week for the bubbles/water to fully evaporate due to the cooler temperatures/ overcast days we are having right nowThey are looking good!
I had mine done during May before it was too unbearable (weather-wise), all windows were good to go within 3 days of sunny days, except for the pass front window, it had a half-dime bubble that took over 7 days to fully stretch/evaporate and disappeared towards when the weather turned hotter & humid.
Usually they put a vinyl decal tape thing over your window control buttons. Surprised they didn’t do that.Yea the guys here told me not to roll the windows down for at least three days but it could take about a week for the bubbles/water to fully evaporate due to the cooler temperatures/ overcast days we are having right now
My tinters told me no windows for a week. I went back after 3 days and they did it and said everything was good.Yea the guys here told me not to roll the windows down for at least three days but it could take about a week for the bubbles/water to fully evaporate due to the cooler temperatures/ overcast days we are having right now
They did put it over my driver door controls but still told me to wait a few days.Usually they put a vinyl decal tape thing over your window control buttons. Surprised they didn’t do that.

I got my windows done on October 29th and still haven't rolled my windows down.Mostly because of weather.
That sucks. The place I went is about a mile from me. The guy who owns it is a dick, but they're cheap and they do a good job, so I'll put up with him for 5 mins. The place I took it to is a 35 minute drive from me
