It's getting to the time I'm ready to get a different set of wheels for summer use. I currently have a set of 22" Fuel wheels in black that came with the truck, and they are "decent," but I'd like to get a better looking wheel that fits the truck more. I will retire the Fuels to winter use with...
Also to add to the above - I had spoke to Ridetech about getting the truck the lowest it could go on what is available, and they mentioned they had done tons of testing on these trucks since they were supplying the suspension for the SuperSnake and Shelby trucks. They ran into the driveshaft...
Bumping this up as I have the same issue on mine, but it's actually causing a clunk over bumps, especially during tighter turns. Both rear wheel bearings are fairly loose as I can push both wheels up and down (not in and out) and get it to clunk on the hoist. I didn't figure it was the...
I would also double and triple check your driveshaft clearance to the back of the cab first. I know there are some combinations of cab/drivetrains that the driveshaft will hit the back of the cab. Also, depending on what you're doing with the front, you may need to get some different coilovers...
Was browsing around at tail light options for a friend's BMW and decided to see if any new options had released for our trucks. I currently have the smoked Morimoto tail lights and do like them, but of course it's nice to upgrade if a new option releases. I had seen VLAND now has tail lights for...
Yeah, I'll take some Diode Dynamics tail lights to go with the headlights and fog lights! lol But it looks like they don't have any plans to offer.
@Diode Dynamics any discounts for those of us who bought the previous version and could buy just the light itself? I purchased the kit back in...
Haven't needed it for any sort of racing, and haven't had the time to figure out what I wanted to do for it. Probably be a project for this summer at some point. I haven't seen anyone else's setup yet either.
If we are talking just the TBM dual line lock kit I think it's a terrific kit. Looks beautiful and fits very nicely. I have not wired mine up yet because I haven't needed it for anything, and just haven't found the time to figure out how I wanted to do it.
You don't need a re-tune for the engine or transmission, its changing the parameters to tell it the gearing is different so the speedo, MPG, etc. is on track where it should be. It can all be done through FORScan for sure, but I'm not sure why the dealer wouldn't just do it using their factory...

I'm gonna call the local Ford dealer tomorrow and see what my cost with my shop discount would be on the Air Designs ones through them, or if I just end up ordering them online somewhere. I think the Air Designs ones will work best for a lowered street truck.
From the looks of it, by the time I paid the bodyshop the time to pull the vinyl, sand the chrome bumpers, epoxy them, and then paint them it wasn't much difference in cost to just purchase the new paint to match ones. Also, then I don't need to worry about the paint not sticking or chipping...
Ordered new aftermarket paint to match front and rear bumpers since my truck currently has chrome ones, and I've not had great luck with the chrome bumpers long term for holding paint. I don't see any aftermarket street truck bumper options available for the 21+, as the Saleen and Super Snake...
