Im sure it’ll work eventually. I haven’t looked to see where a fully updated 21 ipma is software wise yet.Bummer about it not just being a Forscan change on a 21, but I will be doing it on my 23.
Woa. Ok broseph, what changes do we need to enable for this? Is it still when a trailer/device is detected only?
Yeah. Only works when a trailer is connected.Woa. Ok broseph, what changes do we need to enable for this? Is it still when a trailer/device is detected only?

Honda has had this forever. I had it on an Accord 10 years ago and loved it. I’m not sure it would be as useful with the existing F150 cameras as I’m not sure they are at the best angle but would still be nice to have.my passengers would go nuts if i had this enabled lmfao!
I'm planning to try to get this installed at lunchtime, so I'll let you know. Coincidentally, I have a trailer hooked up at the moment.will this work on a 22? i have a early 22 with no deletions haha
this is why i love this forum haha no one seems afraid to jump in. let me know. i'll find a trailer on the job here and see if it works on mine if it works on yoursI'm planning to try to get this installed at lunchtime, so I'll let you know. Coincidentally, I have a trailer hooked up at the moment.
@B-real
Thats actually the correct values to change. I have had this for a few months but had to update my IPMA software to a 23. You have to have a trailer connected or a light plugged into the trailer connector with enough voltage draw for it to work. I used an old Rigid Industries pod light to test. With your truck being a 23 it may just be forscan changes for you.
There has to be a voltage draw on the trailer connector.I'm curious if your changes will also work just by just putting the truck in tow/haul mode, or do you actually have to have a load on the trailer plug?
What gets disabled when we have a trailer hooked up?There has to be a voltage draw on the trailer connector.
