Never experienced any issues but installed the update anyway via FDRS. Hopefully doesn't break anything. :)

I had the TSB 24-2126 performed in May on my 2023 F-150 King Ranch with 3300 miles. The issue didn't get fixed, and fan shutting down and a/c not working still occurs on very hot days. I took it in again today and dealer couldn't replicate so they said to try again later... my passenger side seat also makes noises now when using a/c ventilated seat, like a revving and dripping noise.

The TSB didn't fix my issue either but it seems better. Went on a long drive (3.5 hours) and it stopped when I stopped at a rest stop. I left the truck idling. But on the way back it worked fine. Go figure. I will just live with it because to have the dash torn apart and multiple trips to the dealership is not something I want to do at this time.

Sigh. Well the TSB seemed to work but tonight it is 85f and 90% humidity right at sunset and on 10 mile 35-55 mph drive through city mine froze up again. ?

Interesting TSB. I have a 23 Limited and had the A/C freeze up with the exact same issues everyone else is seeing but this was last November and before the two new TSBs came out. It was repaired under a previous TSB that (unfortunately I don’t recall the number) called for the complete removal and replacement of the evaporator core. To do that they had to remove the entire dash. According to the older TSB the problem was a miscalibrated sensor. Ford did nothing with the software and I’ve had no more issues during the 8k since the repair. If the current software fix doesn’t work I suggest digging up the older TSB. I’d definitely try the software fix first because tearing out the dash risks other damages (they damaged and had to replace my dash padding and a trim piece) but the evap core swap definitely worked on mine.

Had mine done last week. Too early to tell if it's working.
Update: the TSB worked for me, no more evaporator freeze-ups. The air coming out of the vents is not quite as cold as before. So instead of running at 72 F to be comfortable, I have to set at 68 F. Not a huge deal, just different.

I agree, after having done mine, it doesn't get as cold, when its really hot its annoying to have to put it on max a/c to get it to feel good. Before I could just leave on like 65 degrees and it would be right. Mine has froze up once since running the tsb but seems to be better.

Had this done while it was in getting some other issues addressed. No more problems with the AC randomly warming after an hour or so but never froze up completely, and not blowing form the vents at all on startup. AC register temps increased about 5 degrees but it was also 100 F outside.

I also noticed that the transmission is now using 2nd gear about 80% of the time and shifts are much smoother in general.

I did the update in late May and the issue is still occurring for me but less frequently. It seems to mostly happen if I drive the truck for a little bit, get out for a quick stop of 5-10 minutes and a few minutes after I get back in it will freeze up and I have to blast the heat for 60 seconds or so to get air flow back.
