thinking of battery replacement out of pocket

i've been having issues with battery constantly in saver mode when the truck is not driven for 2-3 days. i've posted threads in the other sub-forums about this. instead of a battery tender, i'm leaning toward a better battery replacement instead. yes, it will be out of my own pocket since dealer won't do that because their diagnostic tool never detects any issues with my battery. those of you have replaced battery on your Powerboost, which brand and model do you recommend? our Powerboost only accepts H7 AGM batteries, correct? thanks.

^^^ thanks. for those of you replaced the batteries, does that resolve the battery saver mode issue? also, when replacing a battery, do you lose your bluethooth settings and connectivity to FordPass?

I have one of these Walmart batteries charged up in my back seat as I try to decide if I want to stick with my factory battery a little longer. I had some issues and had to charge mine up the other day but of course since I bought the replacement I have had no issues. I’ll keep it the full two week return period before I decide.

if you go this route, note that the listing says 800 cca and the picture shows 850. It is indeed, 800 (at least at my local stores in MA).

Upgrading the battery resolved all of my weird little issues, no settings were lost. Be sure you reset your BMS after the swap.

Turn the truck on to accessory. Flash the headlights 5 times. Then press the brake pedal 3 times. The battery icon will flash 3 times.

I replaced the OEM with the Everstart Platinum H7 and all the "shutting down", etc. disappeared. I didn't lose any settings when the new battery was installed.

The only setting I lost when I changed my battery was the instrument cluster layout. I had to arrange the gauges and "My View" back to the way I liked. All of the Bluetooth settings and radio presets were preserved.

just took a look on Amazon, there are lots of different variety of the Forscan tools, any specific one for 2023 powerboost F150?
