2025, purchased a few months ago.

The stock windshield wipers are chattery and don't clear rain well. Is that normal?

I'll try some new wiper blades and see if that helps.

Try to clean the blades themselves, some say alcohol, and wipe them clean.

My 2025 RCSB had the same problem… I upgraded to some Bosch Icon wiper blades and they’re much better.

Blades on my 2024 were replaced after about a year. I replaced them with some silicone rain X blades

Truck gets parked in the shop at this house. Previous house my truck was outside. Those blades only lasted about six months. Heat, cold, and the sun take a toll on wiper blades.

Same here. The OEMs on my 2025 were shot within 6 months. I just replaced with Bosch Icons and they have been perfect for the last 2 months. To the OP: Ditch your OEMs and get some Bosch Icons. Especially with winter wet weather on the way, you won’t regret it.

I had an issue recently: https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/driver-wiper-chatter-help.44440

After using Invisible Glass Glass Stripper, my wipers are working great. If you don't figure it out,I'd say its worth the $10 to try.

I will try all of the above, thanks!

Hopefully the bosch last longer than 6 months

Oem blades don’t hold up for me after the PNW summer, suuuper chattery and annoying on the up swing, like the get molded flat from the down swing by the summer heat. If they get replaced in the fall they work well all winter. Note: if you have a service package make sure to tell your dealer to replace them in your fall service, if you don’t tell them they won’t do it. Went back in and they wanted to burn one of my full services to replace the wiper blades they should have replaced in the first place…

Funny. My wife was complaining that the wipers weren't working well. Tried to clean them and the windshield. Guess the stockers just suck. Time to change them.

I had no luck with gen14 motorcraft stockers. Mine we shot within 6 months of getting the truck. Bought another MC set and they performed poorly out of the box. I am sure there are plenty that perform better, but Ive had great luck with the RainX silicones (~$27 each on amazon). Last set lasted a little more than a year and a half before needing to be replaced. I just replaced them with the same blades and they are fantastic once again.

Its funny because I went through a similar, yet opposite deal with the gen12 truck. I purchased my go-to Bosch icons and they did not perform well for me AT ALL. I ended up having much better luck with Motorcraft blades.

Will add that I put on PIAA Aero Vogue "hybrid" wipers about a month ago. Been very happy after using that Invisible Glass Glass Stripper.

I've used Bosch Icon in the past and been very happy with them. I've just heard silicone blades last longer so wanted to try silicone this time.

PIAA has a "beam" style silicone blade as well that is closer to the Motorcraft OEM ones. I went with the Aero Vogue "hybrid" as you can replace just the silicone portion in the future rather than the entire blade. Even if I change my mind on these down the road, I'm not really out any $ vs buying new beams. But if I'm happy with these Aero Vogue I think the refills are around $15 each.

Trying to think over the years what I've also liked. I think Valeo I've used a few times and they were good too. I tried the most expensive Michelin silicone from Walmart and did not think those were any good. I've use the Costco Michelin blades and wasn't too happy with them. Didn't last. Had some chatter. But they're cheap... so I'm probably 50/50 on them. If they work on your car they're so cheap to replace every 6 months. I know way back when I'd often use Anco cheap blades and actually thought those were pretty good too.

My 2022 OEM wipers worked fine for me until about 3 weeks ago when the rubber started to separate from the arms on both sides. For me after researching whether or not to stay with the Motorcraft OEMs or choose another brand I decided on the Bosch Icons and couldn't be happier. No issues on the sweep and these are very quiet and clean the windshield as expected!
