I get some vibration over ~75mph, i can feel it in the gas pedal and sometimes the passenger seat will vibrate some.
Is that normal?
It's nothing terrible but doesn't ride nearly as smoothly as a car.
Under 75mph nothing noticeable.
2025 XLT Supercrew 3k miles
2025, purchased a few months ago.
The stock windshield wipers are chattery and don't clear rain well. Is that normal?
I'll try some new wiper blades and see if that helps.
I've put about 2k miles now on my Leer now
I don't notice the vibration thing mentioned at all, and I actually like that the 2nd section doesn't latch down, it makes it a little easier when getting things in and out.
Super happy with the Leer and their customer service was great once I got the...
having the keypad is the best thing about owning a Ford. I was between an f150 and a different brand and I am so glad I went with the f150 just on the keypad.
I have a 2025 i got a month ago and i had the factory code and everything was fairly smooth and exactly what i expected based on this thread
i did do the procedure to get the code after activating the keypad with forscan. I activated in 2 different spots i believe.
I have a 2025 XLT with the power open tailgate (but not close, I'm not sure the right terms), the keypad opens my tailgate. I used the part #s in the original post
That's what I'm unsure about, should I just accept that it currently works? Dealer is saying the part is damaged and should be replaced, but it seems to function fine for now
I'm inclined to think the dealer is right since they accurately diagnosed and addressed the issue where linex couldn't
I have a 2025 xlt 303 and I just ordered the exact part numbers everyone here is mentioning from ford oem parts (even though it said one of them does not fit my vehicle). Fairly easy install, works great.
Pretty much plug and play with forscan
It was funny linex explaining that the issue was something else, when i had already seen that issue tested both ways and it was failing even with their "fix" (until the dealer cleaned the part). Also, Linex let it go out the door with the issue existing (and they knew the issue existed), so if...
To their credit, my linex dealer was going to pay for it... But here's the update:
- Dealer said they cleaned the latch enough to get the light off, but the part needs to be replaced
- Linex said they would pay for it, but they want to look at it first
- Linex looks at it, disagrees with the...
That is absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure you were livid.
i wish I read about these issues before I got my liner. Or maybe i should have just had it done at the dealer.
the liner place didnt cover it?
now im worried my trailer wiring is messed up too...
Mine is a 2025 - i see the SSM mentions 2021-2022, do you think it continued?
I'm getting a tailgate ajar error due to overspray of the liner. I'm curious if anything else was messed up. Had this done aftermarket locally at a well respected shop.
sorry for the feet pics
leer customer service ended up being great once I had the right email address
install soon. video linked in first post looks straightforward other than the gasket everyone keeps mentioning
