Installed the RAS HD kit on my 21 PB to help with sag when towing my TT. RAS improved the ride tremendously both towing and unloaded, but there is a horrible squeak on the drivers side rear now. Anyone have any experience with this setup and had any similar issues?

I'm running the same kit on my long bed powerboost, and it's been flawless. No noises, and it's a game changer for me. How did you set yours up? I went with the 3rd hole, and both the white and black spacer (3 mm). It did lift the truck up a good 1½"-2", but my bed is normally loaded down daily so no worries there.

The instructions didn’t mention using different holes. What difference does the third hole versus the end one make?

It changes the location of the pivot to closer to the center of the leaf. Think of lifting a gallon of milk with your arms extended all the way, then doing it again with your arms closer to your body. Not at all a scientific explanation, but hopefully easy enough to understand.

Makes sense. I think I’m going to reinstall tomorrow and move to the third hole. Figured out my squeak issue, apparently I messed up the auto leveling sensor for the headlights somehow when I installed the RAS. Going to see if I can fix it while I have it apart tomorrow, otherwise I’ll have to replace it.

Reinstalled the RAS with the third hole and tweaked the leveling sensor and all is good now. Thanks for the suggestion.

If I add this to my truck, will it for sure raise the back end while unloaded? I’ve leveled my truck so I don’t want to add this and it raise the rear when not hooked to a trailer

Most likely, yes. Maybe not if you go regular kit instead of HD, and only go with the 1 mm spacing.

I just installed this on my Powerboost this past weekend. Used the second hole from the bottom - seemed to be the best compromise for the headlight bracket - both on the inside hitting the bracket and center hitting the adjustment nut of the RAS. I also installed the RAS so the longer part of the bolts/nuts were on the outside. As near as I can tell I haven’t had any interference nor have I had any squeaks.

**edit - I haven’t put any heavy loads on it yet but still don’t think it would hit anywhere.

RAS Standard raised my 145 WB EB 1 1/2” with only a Diamondback SE bed cover and maybe 20# of stuff in bed. Installed in first (longest) hole.

I had the RAS HD kit installed on my 22 KR PB at the second hole as RAS instructed for the auto leveling headlight clearance; did anyone else have a problem with the kit rubbing the (what I think are) two metal tabs that seem to protect the bottom of the auto leveling headlight sensor? I am pretty sure mine is/has hit that front tab several times, even at the 2d bolt hole, with the trailer hooked up.

I had the same issue, even when using second bolt hole as RAS instructed.
My fix on 22 PB KR to miss AL headlight tabs was to ensure bolt heads were to the inside on the pivot arm and nuts/extra bolt length to the outside. That made everything clear by about 1/2 inch.
Wish I would have known at first but didn’t- had to uninstall and reverse the bolts then reinstall.
That’s what worked for me anyway.

I had the squeak come back on mine while hauling a heavy load of rock, despite flipping the RAS L/R so that the bolt heads faced the sensor bracket.

Instead of taking them off and shortening the shackle length near the axle as recommended by RAS, I just took a cutoff wheel and removed an 1/6-1/8th of an inch from the bracket:
