Request VIN Lookup Thread

@rugedraw Would you mind checking my VIN as well? I currently have FDRS until 06/10 and have gone through all updates except for the door modules. So far it’s only shown one update per module, no additional ones have come up after updating related modules like other users have suggested. And I’m not sure if Bluecruise 1.3 was supposed to be in one of the updates but lane changing w/ bluecruise did not work.

I am looking at running FDRS to update my modules to get the split screen veiw on a 2021 xlt w/360 cam, but was waiting. Ford has been sending out OTA and I recieved 4.3.3 and then 4.3.6. PU 4.3.4 was for the IMPA but I haven't recieved it yet and wasn't sure if I would since I have cams at speed, one of the features for 4.3.4.
My VIN is 1FTFW1E84MFC80697. Could someone check FDRS for my vehicle updates?

Your truck is on the latest Sync. Modules pending updates are below. You should have the capacity for cams at speed. Check the FORScan spreadsheet as you may just need to enable the config for that to work. The latest IPMA update is not coming via OTA yet and can only be done with FDRS.

Hello, I would appreciate a VIN lookup as my trucks warranty expires in 3 days. I bought a used 2021 Job 1 in February. Long story short the SYNC 4 was not updated for 2.5 years because the modem wasn’t connected correctly and I had the Ford dealer fix it under warranty. Im still on a 2022 Sync 4 update as they have slowly been rolling in. The bed lights also dont work because of some software issue and I have posted a picture. Just want to know if FRDS shows anything else that might be wrong so I can report it before the warranty expires on June 12th. VIN 1FTFW1E59MFB59766

You had 3.5.4 sent and fail due to an unknown error a bit under 2 weeks ago. You are still pretty behind, but you have OTA history so your truck is getting updates. It will be a while before you're caught with OTA's, but as far as your warranty expiring, nothing you need to worry in terms of getting updates. You're just going to have to be patient.

I’m getting a Mongoose and want to use the $50 FDRS access for a few days if there are updates I should get. I seem to have an OTA update that’s stuck because I get a notification that it will install overnight but when I try to see the details, it just shows me the info for the last successful one.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and you have no active OTA in queue now. What you are seeing is a phantom update message and you can ignore it. The OTA process has been pretty good to you as you're up to 6.13.0 and are showing several of the PU updates went through, too. Modules still pending updates are below.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but your truck is on Sync 20301 which is bad software from 20202 known to break the OTA process. Are you able to turn auto-updates on, or is the toggle switch grayed out and you can't move it?

Thankfully, your truck seems to have an extended warranty. The difficult part will be convincing the dealer your truck has a problem. According to Ford dealer website, the last time your truck got an OTA was August of 2021 and that is the update that loaded the bad software on your APIM. The dealer needs to manually update it (which will fail miserably) and then diagnose the APIM as faulty and replace it. Attached is GSM 23-7146 that was sent to all Ford dealers with the attached pdf to advise dealers of what the latest Sync version on each connected Ford vehicle should be.

Good luck. While the issue your truck has is not a new issue, many people here have had a rough time getting this fixed. Once they fix it, you will be very out of date, but you will start getting updates and will have the option to update the truck yourself if you are inclined to do so.

Thanks for checking. I did use Forscan to enable split view and had an Icon at the top of the screen, but no split screen view.
I went ahead this morning and started FDRS update. It was a bit of an issue logging in but finally got there.

Your truck is on Sync 23159 which is only one version behind the latest and you got OTA 24-PU0223-VI-RBS less than a month ago. You can just wait for more to be sent to you; there is need for you to do them manually unless you are looking for a specific feature you don't have that you can only get with an update.

Just want to make sure all my assist features are up to date and to figure out why I dont see the bed camera card in my center stack (the little cards on the right side of the screen)

I knew I got the OTA 24.... but wasnt sure if I have gotten any of the power-up updates. I just wanted to make sure I was getting those

No way of knowing when the next one will be sent. but based on where you are in software, you should have the bed camera. I would check the FORScan spreadsheet and try to enable it that way. It is possible it is just a change in config that you need to get that working and not an actual update.

Ive read all the forscan stuff, and it seems that the OTAs are supposed to be what adds the card, but in Forscan you need to change "allow cameras at speed" to get it to actually work.

I will try adding the "allow cameras at speed" in forscan and see if that triggers the card.

I just see all these folks say "im on power up 6.4.2" or whatever, and am just wondering why i cant seem to figure out what power up I am on.

Oh, you can't see that. In your case, it is still in your OTA history in PTS. Last power-up you got was 4.2.4 back in March.

Check the spreadsheet for the F150 in the first post of the OTA history thread linked in my signature to see everything that has been released for our trucks up until now.
