I think the reasoning has been so long is that I have the PPO-SI still showing in Sync as completed. It never cleared out like any other OTAs I did get. My truck may just tell the mother ship it is busy with this update and hold off till I am done. A "bit" is set somewhere saying not now. Just my thoughts based on years working with technology.

It will always show last OTA update under details. I thought PPO-SI was the end too.

You ought to know by now Ford doesn't follow any schedule we understand. Until they fully release all the updates for BC 1.4 no reason to fool with FDRS in my opinion. Even then you can skip that BCM update.

It messed up @Skier167 truck.

I think it was his. My memory sucks. Jesse had to wave his magic wand.

There is messed up for Jesse to fix and there is messed up with breaking modules. I think I saw post where Jesse did something but I don't think that was the same as the breaking of headlights.

Mine got messed up but I did the update via fdrs. Jesse fixed it and had me try the update again and it caused the same errors which were 12v system low and brake system fault.

Just let it happen OTA. So far those getting it say it is fine.

My truck has shown "Not Completed" on its last OTA for 2 or 3 weeks now after failing on 4.3.6 power-up. I wish it would get to the IPC update so I can be amazed if it installs.

6.8.0 is only IPC update my truck has ever installed without FDRS and using CAN. Going all the way back in it's life. It didn't have tenths of a mile on odometer when I drove it home last year.
Whatever "help" for future updates in 4.3.3 did seems to actually work. That was my last FDRS IPC update.

This is what my truck shows from the August 12th OTA. This is a PCM update, and I have not gotten a OTA or PCM update since. This make me think that this is stopping my truck from getting OTA's. I have some updates in FDRS and was thinking about doing them this coming week.

What is the thoughts of doing a PMI on the PCM module and see what pops up in FDRS?

I really hope they don’t, the fact it failed twice probably means it would fail again.

I applied the BCM update without any issue. I have a platinum with projector lights.

@rugedraw the truck successfully updated and once again you were correct. Just needed to drive 45 min to top off the battery then it happily installed.

Hello. Sirius stopped working after a failed 6.2 update, had to dealer, they updated a couple modules and it worked for a key cycle and now doesn't again. Can someone check Vin 1FTFW1ED5PFC84307 for failed otas and modules that may need updates. Trying to decide on getting a mongoose.

Hello. Sirius stopped working after a failed 6.2 update, had to dealer, they updated a couple modules and it worked for a key cycle and now doesn't again. Can someone check Vin 1FTFW1ED5PFC84307 for failed otas and modules that may need updates. Trying to decide on getting a mongoose.

OTA history does show that APIM update 23-PU1103-NAT-VCE failed twice due to a manifest mismatch. This means the files the server wanted to send your truck were not correct so your truck rejected the update. I am not sure what would be the correct way to address the XM not working; not sure if updating all modules will help, but I can provide the list later when I get home to my laptop.

OTA history shows you got APIM update 23-PU0724-DOM-RS on 9/18/23 and nothing has been sent to you since then. As far as power-up updates, you're missing the 6.x.x updates.
