Thank you! What is the procedure for receiving the missing Power-Up updates? I apologize for being less than knowledgeable with all this tech stuff.

It's cool....that's what the forum is here for.Thank you! What is the procedure for receiving the missing Power-Up updates? I apologize for being less than knowledgeable with all this tech stuff.
Have had a failed 6.1 update for a few weeks now.
Can you look up what's wrong with my late 21 powerboost Lariat with bluecruise?

HI there, I been away for a long time, I have a 2021 Hybrid, I don't think that I haven't had an update since I got my truck. I've been to 3 dealerships for issues, plus all trying to update my truck. Each says no update because of low battery or some BS. My ford pass shows nothing either, btw after the first dealership I lost my Ford Pass SecurityAlert and no updates from then. You have a bunch of updates available![]()
It seems like they did replace the SCCM on 12/27 and updated some modules. On 12/29, it seems they were messing with the SCCM again. On 1/4, they did some reading in PTS about some TSB's maybe looking for some help to fix it. The truck seems to have been untouched since then. It is possible they are waiting on engineering to get back to them as they are stuck.Sorry for being a pain, could someone check the history on my truck again 1FTFW1ED5PFA51155 it has been at the dealer for 3+ weeks with an issue updating the SCCM and the dealer is giving me the run around now. For the last week every time I try and get an update the people who know whats going on are out sick, gone for the day or otherwise unavailable etc.
First they said they replaced the SCCM, then they back tracked on that and can't really tell me what has been done. It sounds like they aren't even really trying anymore and have placed blame on Ford engineering and saying Ford hasn't gotten back to them on the case they opened on 12/28 or 12/29 (can't remember which date they told me) which seems a little suspect.
Thank you, thank you Rugedraw for checking into this. I have never ever seen an update OTA either. I will write them again to see if any reply from ford engineers since last checkup. It seems like they did replace the SCCM on 12/27 and updated some modules. You've had APIM OTA 23-PU0724-DOM-RS sent to you twice this month. The first time it failed with error code:Could you check VIN: 1FTFW1ED0MFB78424
Dealer got me moving again after no updates, I got one OTA, and then dead again. Seems to be how things work for my truck... FDRS to current, one OTA, and then no mas.
The update failed the same day it was sent to you on 12/15 due to a manifest mismatch. The server did not send the correct files to your truck and your truck rejected the OTA. What you are seeing is a phantom message that you can ignore. There is nothing you can do but wait for the update to be sent to you again.Have had a failed 6.1 update for a few weeks now.

List is empty. A network scan with FDRS while being hooked up to the vehicle is more telling than me or anyone doing one remotely with your VIN, so there was no real need for it to be verified. If you're a DIYer, a once a month VIN check request here will suffice to check for anything new that may have been released for your truck.Hello. Just pushed a ton of updates through FDRS. Would like to have my VIN checked to verify that I got everything.
Thank you!
Securealert was dropped by Ford for everyone. That is the least of your worries. Your truck on Sync 20301 which is old software from 2020 known to break the OTA process. Looking through the tech notes recorded in your warranty history, there is no mention of any tech checking for any customer complaints in regards to not getting updates. Your truck is on the same SYnc software if left the factory with and does not seem to have ever gotten an update. Your dealer would have to manually update your APIM or diagnose it as faulty and replace it with a new one.HI there, I been away for a long time, I have a 2021 Hybrid, I don't think that I haven't had an update since I got my truck. Can someone please run my VIN, so that I can understand what has been done if anything shows up? Vin 1FTFW1ED9MFB79457
Thanks in Advance!!
That response was for someone else. Looking at your truck now. I responded to you above.Thank you, thank you Rugedraw for checking into this. I have never ever seen an update OTA either. I will write them again to see if any reply from ford engineers since last checkup.
Thank you, I will get a hold of Ford to see if they can repair / manually update the APIM program. That response was for someone else. Looking at your truck now. I responded to you above.
I doubt they will replace the APIM because they were able to successfully update it; there would be no need to replace it if that's the case. After they APIM, they tried to update the TCU. First time, it failed and the second time it failed, they were given the option to update it via CAN instead of USB. When FDRS said it would take an hour to do, they exited the program and did not update it.My truck is at the dealership, supposed to have the APIM replaced. Have not picked up the truck yet.
Would just like to know what all they did.
