Your truck has not recorded an OTA since it was built. It is still on the same software it left the factory with. I am not familiar with the Super Duty update schedule, but that does not seem normal to me, especially for a Platinum that would have lots of bells and whistles.

Thanks. That is what I figured. Been trying to get the dealer to acknowledge. In the middle of a move but new dealer seems more receptive. Fingers crossed.

I can look up what modules have pending updates from my house later. Please note that Ford does not pay dealers to perform module updates. This is why customers have a hard time getting dealers to help them with these types of issues.

I can check FDRS for pending module updates later. Dealers don't get paid to update modules, so they will always give you the run-around.

Dealer just called, I sent them the list that you had screen captured. They told me those are all over the wire updates not over the air. They couldn't explain why they didn't make them when it was in last week. It's scheduled to go in again on Monday.

That is incorrect. Only the WACM and MAYBE the HVAC updates have to be done by wire. The other are available OTA.

Either way, if they agreed to update it for you, then take it, take a bow and exit stage left.

Could someone please check vin 1FTFW1ED5MFC06184. Between breaking my ankle, surgery on my ankle and turning my truck in for hail damage repair it hasn't been getting driven much since 23 September. I know the battery is down a bit and would like to know if anything is queued up. Thanks.

As far as OTA's go, you're missing 4.2.2, 4.2.3, 4.2.4 and a few priority updates as well as the just released 6.1.0 and 6.2.0 updates. You had an APIM priority update sent to you at the end of August that failed, but it was resent to you 3 days ago and it went through. You are fine. The updates you are missing are just to prep the truck for future updates, so you aren't missing out on anything. I don't think you have anything to worry about. You'll get them sooner or later.

Edit: You may also be missing 4.3.5 and 4.3.6. 4.3.6 re-enables your rear cameras while driving if one of the 4.x.x updates caused the feature to stop working.

Thanks Rugedraw. I was one that missed the rear camera update so I've yet to have the camera in motion. Prior to the update a couple days ago, the last update I got was 4.2.1 on 5 July.

Whoa thanks for checking. Yes my BC does work or at least it did a few weeks ago when I was on a trip.

I do have booting / rebooting issues with my screen a couple of times a week.
Occasionally it will freeze when I am in reverse, and get stuck there for a few minutes and eventually reboot itself.

Would you suggest I get FDRS and do all of the updates manually?

I suggest that to everyone, but the cable you need is $550. Or you can get on the list to borrow one of mine.

Do you have Alexa?
Rear cameras working while driving down highway?
Full screen Android Auto and Carplay?

If missing any of those then IMO it's worth it. If you have all of that and your BC is currently working then I would go with the ain't broke don't fix it mentality. You will want BC 1.3 if that comes to the 21 trucks so at that point it would really be worth the time. You can always save cash if you not in a rush and get on Rugedraw borrowing list. I did go the Mongoose route because my truck was missing all the items I listed above so was definitely worth it to me for the expensive cable.

Rugedraw and Jesse helped me get past a failed OTA that happened on Sept 30, that did not roll back properly, causing my Nav screen to go for a walkabout without me. This got me from 22293 Rev 610 to 23159 Rev 915

I do have Forscan and the recommended adapter and have made a few tweaks to the truck, adaptive head lights, Bambi, rear lights on with DRL. I have managed to get Global windows to work with the Driver and Passenger doors, but not the rear windows or the moon roof. I have the mirrors tilting if I use the #3 saved profile, and have bed camera and trailer hitch camera at speed.

I recently updated the tire size to reflect the new Falken Wildpeak ATW3 285/60R20 tires I just had installed.

In your case, I would not spend the money to get the updates you are missing. They are all preparatory updates updates for future updates, so you aren't missing out on anything that warrants the expense. IMO, of course.
